Phoenix could never be in Brawl; he'd be so much better than every other character that he'd be broken. After all, he could never take any damage. If any of the other characters ever hit him, he'd sue them for assualt, haul them to court, and them get them locked up in jail for a long, long time, the crafty lawyer that he is.

Although I would never object to him being in the game; in fact, I'd probably play him almost exclusively.

No, he couldn't do that, since Phoenix is a defense attorney.

I would LOVE Phoenix Wright in SSB!
But not as a playable character. An assistant trophy, maybe. He appears and shouts an "OBJECTION!!" or a "TAKE THAT!!" that hurts your enemies...

Anyway, I don't think you should say "But he can't appear in SSB, he hasn't got any attack!" because... well, look at Mr. Game & Watch. He doesn't fight in his games and look at him. The same with R.O.B.

On topic, if Capcom were invited to put a character in the next SSB, then Mega Man would be the #1 choice for a playable character, I'm afraid.

Phoenix as an assist trophy wouldn't be totally out of the question though.

Still Phoenix as an assist trophy sounds about right.

But if he comes from the back, you're screwed, also, the Down Smash doesn't have much range.
Smash Up! > A 360 degree jumping uppercut, like a little cameo of a shoryuken, that obviously send up his foes in the air, great killer move *18-31%*, but having great lag and have, again, a lot of openings.

Standard Air > Phoenix gives a headbutt and flips one time *6-8%*, it has a slashing noise when it hits *because of his spiky hair, heh* if the move isn't 100% done when he hits the ground, he falls on the ground, and must get back on his feet. *Seriously, Phoenix, you should be more still when you fight!*
Forward Air > A weird straight punch that sends him forward a little, a very horizontal knockback, while being intermediate. *10-13%*
Down Air > Hits with both hands under him, kinda like Wolf, Meteor Smash *yay!!* *13-14%*

Standard B > Chargeable OBJECTION! Kinda like Samus' beam or DK's punch. Sends foes everywhere, with very high knockback, *9-31%*
Forward B > Throws evidence of all sorts that appeared in the AA series, even Munchoos *NO!!!* evidence have different properties, thus, it's a pretty rando projectile move *From NOTHING *Munchoos, XD* to 30%, random knockback*
Down B > Stops an opponent by shouting HOLD IT! Like Mewtwo's stare in Melee, but he can do it even he has his back turned the other side of you
Up B > Behold! The Ladder! Wait...the Stepladder...no ladder...NEVERMIND! Phoenix climbs up that...thing and jumps when he has reached the top, the...thing falls down and knocks down opponents who touches it, disappears when it touches a surface. *6-8% for the...thing...and Phoenix doesn't do any damage*

A zone Final Smash, he charges it a little while the spirit of Mia is besides him, doing the same motion, and lauches a big

That kills instantly the opponents in the zone of the writing, the flaw in this Final Smash is his little charge he has to do before launching the attack.

You've really thought it out bravo.
Though I think you should use Franny's whip rather than the step ladder for his recovery. That way it can be used offensively. I know it's not technically HIS WHIP but then again Snake doesn't use the Cypher and Luca's rope snake isn't his yet they use em.

I suggest adding in Edgey's gun from his childhood instead of the snackoo, it goes off when he throws it and dealing the bonus damage! It makes more sense than the snackoo to me...since Nick never had to deal with the snackoo enslaught.

If you REALLY wanted to see GS Characters in Super Smash Bros.Capcom must ask Nintendo to simply make them playable~
And what? Snake and Sonic are Playable because BOTH Konami and Sega pleased Nintendo,and NOT Nintendo puts them automatically for fun~

But i don't think Capcom agreed.I heard they said something about "that Nintendo should ask capcom not Capcom asks Nintendo to make their characters in SSB."

Hmm... but Edgeworth was in the Capcom card game on DS, so you never know.

In Brawl, the whole cast should be an assist trophy. Like, it could be Phoenix yelling OBJECTION! and making everybody goes flying with +100%, or Franziska doing the whiplash storm thing, Manfred with the taser, Edgeworth's OBJECTION! (different from Phoenix's, maybe 300+ damage but no KO or anything), Godot and the Coffe throw, Dahlia on fire, Missile going insane, etc.

Down+B: HOLD IT! IF you are in a close proximity to the opponint it will stun them.
side+B: TAKE THAT! you throw a random peice of evidence
FINAL SMASH!!! PSYCH-LOCK! the screen goes dark and a bunch of chains run across the screen and damage enimies, then 5 locks appear also damaging enimies, then the locks shatter once again damaging the enimies, the enimies cannot move during these attack, they are immobilized.
All moves are the same except...
Up+B: Cravat Wings, his Cravat transforms into wings
FINAL SMASH! Cravat of DOOM!!! a giant appears on the side of the screen and shoots frills out of his Cravat.... it kills all the characters.

It would be awesome to have Phoenix or Edgy in SSB! But come to think of it...Are they good in fighting? O.o I mean for the standard attacks (Punches/kicks...etc). They should make some for them! XD

Somehow the movesets given in the replies so far, I imagine more to fit into a Jump! Stars series. :s And call me mean, but I personally can't imagine Phoenix able to handle falling on spikes, being burnt or electrocuted, slashed at, etc. Or even double jumping...

I can still picture Phoenix as an Assist Trophy though, one OBJECTION! sign popping up in front of him.
