"Hold up a second" He said to his current attacker, as he threw the living armor into several others, buying himself time to think.
"I can feel it... somebody is calling to me through their pride and vanity, now more than before..."
"Sorry to hit and run, but I have business to attend to." He said with a grin as another wave of demon-soldiers came swarming to him. "Let me offer you a parting gift!"
He punched the ground, digging his fist deep. Then with a second push, jagged spires of obscure, mirror-like glass randomly shot from beneath the ground, impaling several nearby armors and people. He pulled his arm out of the dirt with a cracking sound, and noticed the victims.
"Pity..." he muttered as he unstrapped the large mirror from his back and cast it to the sky, bound for mysterious floating object, where he sensed the pride emanating. He then walked towards one of the spires and stepped through it's reflective surface, disappearing.
All the towers Hurbis created turned to dust, and all the body's fell to the ground. The soldiers got back up again...

The bronze mirror flew far, and fast under enchantment, and stopped, floating, just outside the great door. Leveling itself with glass-side up, Hubris rose out of it and used it as a platform. He moved his hand to the door, and it opened under his touch, but not without resisting, creating a great din. Inside were a few figures, one dead on the ground.
"Hello. I'm looking for somebody with unrequited vanity and pride. Have one of you seen them?" He said, casually, stepping off of the mirror as he went inside and restrapped it to his back.
((I think I followed the story right, and that the epic Master vs. Deska battle took place there, in the Cathedral from the gods realm, correct?))

"Well, well, well, the almighty one wishes for a favor!" Hubris grinned, and bowed deeply, almost comically. "Seeing as I need mankind to be ALIVE, I would be glad to aid you in your ridiculous misadventures." Hubris's aura flickered while he spoke, no loss able to be detected, and which ended almost immediately. Just... a flicker.
"I am Superbia Fastosus, the one and only." He said, still bowed, but now looking up and grinning wildly. Finally straightening up, he said. "But I see you know my nickname. Very well, tell me what you desire, and it shall be dealt with swiftly."
The way he phrased it made it sound like he was waiting for an execution order, and with his cool no-care demeanor resumed, it made it almost sickening.

Hubris took a second to process what had happened.
"He... he shoved. ME!! The fool shoved ME!!" As an incarnation of vanity and pride, he was having a little trouble letting something slide, even though it really was not a real push. "Bah, I'll deal with retaliation later...now what is it that I have here?"
He took the soul that he had been given, now encased and sealed in a small glass ball, and examined it between his fingers.
"So, a soul...? Untainted? I usually don't harvest souls, but this could be useful... maybe my siblings would..."
"Well, let us hope the young hunter enjoys the extent of what he has received from me... wherever he is, it will be fun to see him again. It is a shame I could not plant a seed within the Master, however... Meheheh, I really am a wretched thing." He made his way to the entrance out of the cathedral in the sky, and looked down upon the world below.
"Yeck... it seems that there is hell still being loosed... I need these humans alive. Time to make an entrance." He stepped off of the ledge and began to fall.

He stepped out of the mirror again, completely unharmed. "Behold, people, for your savior has arrived! HAHA!"
"Huh, sea monsters and lower-class demons... those weren't here last time. Maybe I can find the source..." He thought, cleaving a path with the mirror, swinging it like a club and forcing his way through the mob of beasts. "I sense too many random creatures, but I can tell that there is an exceptionally strong force nearby... and... wait, is that who I think it is?! How DID they get back so fast?"
Hubris laughed at the irony as he forced his path, slowly but surely.

"It would be foolish to take me on as an enemy, or any of my other siblings. They are all sleeping, scattered across all existence, but I-- I am here, and I am all you would ever wish to be... and it is boring." He broke out laughing. "Boring as hell and back, my friend. I live the way I do because I choose to (and because I am one of the deadly sins incarnate, but that is besides the point), and I certainly don't need to CONTROL what I already benefit from."
He stepped forward to Forticius, and whispered in his ear. "You would have an easier time destroying that universe you so crave than you would destroying me... considering that you still lack the knowledge of what. I. Really. Am. Heehee, by all means, strike me down; banish me; try to manipulate me; suck out my 'soul' or whatever the heck you would call it that drives my shape... let us see how far you would get with that."

Hubris turned his back on Forticius without even a 'goodbye,' and began to walk off, hoping to run into another hunter or somebody of interest to mess with.

Weapons/Fighting Style: She knows a few martial arts, but she's a far more skilled marksman than a combatant. Interestingly, she's resourceful--if in a tight situation, she can use whatever is around her as a weapon. Again, though, she prefers her gun. As backup tool, she carries a whip.
Personality: She's a goofball. She can be lazy and at times that can earn her the ire of various people, especially her employers. But at heart, she's very serious about her work... in battle, she's quite fierce, and she can come up with calculating ways to attack and defeat her enemies. It takes some initiative to get her to work now and then, and she can be expensive... but she seems to also be friendly and fun-loving, so long she's happy, anyway. Almost damsel-in-distress-like. She can get snappy when irritated.
Special Talents/Skills: "I can play the harmonica with my nose... huh? Oh, you mean talents that apply to my work! Well, I'm pretty good at demon killing, and I can use just about anything as a weapon! Cool, huh? Course, I prefer using my pistol... I can shoot the attenae off an ant from a mile away!!"
Background: Evie is the descendant of the Abraham Van Helsing of legend, though she'd never really admit it. She denies she's related, even though it's been scientifically proven by her blood. She thinks it's not necessary for people to know. She certainly doesn't show any traits that she is... her reason for demon hunting are simple; to support her lifestyle, and because she thinks it's "fun".
Works at: "I"m kinda looking for place to work right now..."
Other: She has a penchant for sweets, and enjoys sleeping. She tends to go by the nickname of "Eve".
Weakness: Vampires. She has a fear of vampires, oddly... she also panics if she ever loses her gun and it can leave her vulnerable when it's gone from her side, thus she keeps it close to her at all times. Do not try to take the gun from her, she'll go ballistic.

In Haiti, the portal could be seen in the sky, and the hunters were very far away from that, and a person in a black cape appeared ¨I see, I can not destroy this by myself or I won´t have an oportunity to keep my mission as a secret...¨ and so he took out what looked like a bomb and threw it to the sky giving a big shinning signal that could be seen all over the world...

He pulled the large mirror off his back, and slipped through the glass, reappearing through a large 'vanity-mirror' a ways past the original city. He saw through a window in the room he had just entered into (somebody's bedroom, it seemed) that the flare was still a distance off. Shrugging with a smile, he stepped back into his own large mirror, which had followed him through the glass of it's own accord. He stepped back into his, and stepped out of another reflective object, his mirror passing through shortly after, and located where the signal in the sky was from his location.
He continued to repeat this, paying attention to where the signal in the sky was, getting slowly closer to it....

Evie herself had remembered Inner from some time ago, and worked along with him on one mission once... the chemistry there didn't work out. Oh, they got the job done pretty well, but they clashed on more than one occasion throughout. It left both of them pretty sour toward each other.
