for 4-1 to 4-3 the game is played from Apollo's point of view so theres really no reason for him to talk to them. In 4-4 the part thats from Phoenix POV is
Im sure theyll make an appearance in AA5

I don't know why, but I have a thing for more canony pairings ...
And this one is just awesome and adorable.
It's sweet to see how Maya has her first real crush ever (given that she lived most of her life in Kurain where men are verrrrry rare) and Phoenix can rely on a woman again ...
I love this pairing and I support Pearl in her encouraging way concerning this pairing *g*

NickxMaya is more important to me than a silly old avatar XD.
Anyway, I guess I just wanted to make various, high-pitched squealing sounds at the Casebook Files (which I received in the mail today). Had quite a few implied moments of the pairing of our choice...granted, some pretty prominent NickxIris as well, but I'm totally satisfied. Can't be selfish here.
Then again, I don't suppose that anyone else here has read it yet? Am I blabbering like a fool?

Oh and Maya is so dedicated to help Phoenix that when she and Gumshoe accidentally eat his evidence, she desperately tries to find new evidence, and when she can't [and Gumshoe crashes his car again] she repatriates by spending ages mastering the super advanced technique of channelling living people to channel Gumshoe from the hospital just so Gumshoe can testify to help Phoenix's case. There were others, I can't remember.

I know it's not canon, but I loved it anyway. At the very least, it helps to entertain me until more info on GS5 starts being released.

Whaaat, Amazon.com doesn't ship there? That's where I got mine from.
Though they're not that shippy really, since it was a general 'official gag doujinshi collection' so they stayed relatively pairing-neutral.
I liked the one with the 'waterfall'. Was that another one of the shippy-hint ones?

Well, you have to know what you're getting. Calling it 'official casebook' was a really misleading idea. But basically they're gag comics by fans of varying quality. High quality art and stuff, I think there must have been some contest or something where the best fan doujinshi were picked. No actual 'cases' as in real crimes solved though, and some of them are a bit OOC.
...so, I took another look at my copy and the one where Maya channels Gumshoe is definitely very shippy. At the start, Phoenix even has a nightmare about Maya leaving, looking for all the world like the stereotypical 'girlfriend dumping him' scene.
The other one which is quite shippy is the one where Phoenix gets a bad cold, but tries to defend Larry [again!] in court anyway. Maya even makes him a sweater (out of what she can find around, like old Kurain souvenirs) to keep him warm and when he thanks her Maya gets all embarrassed. When she channels Mia, Mia notices the correlation to 3-1 [arrow points to sweater!]

There are some good Phoenix/Maya stories out there but they aren't easy to find amongst all the Phoenix/Edgeworth (?!?) ones, especially on the Court Records fic board where you can't search by pairing easily.
When playing through the games I never noticed anything between Phoenix and Edgeworth except for an underlying friendship; I had no idea that there was so much support of that pairing.
I'm just a fanboy in a fangirls world I guess, haha. Victor Kudo/Oldbag on the other hand I can understand... that is just hot

Join the club, buddy. I never saw anything between Nick and Edgey other than a very powerful friendship and a formidable team; each one complements what the other lacks, but never something implying that they might have the hots for each other. =p
