It's interesting, I always choose to write my fics as if they were in Japan.
I liked the sexy Japanese talk though it got really silly with the rib breakage, again what inspired you to write that? True events?

It was the talk in the family for months upon months, trust me. =p It's why I love my extended family so much -- we're willing to crack jokes even at each other's sex life without feeling offended in any way, and enjoy it all the while. =D

I think it's more a case of neither ever being able to be sure exactly how much of the relationship is because she's Mia's sister (and possibly some kind of 2nd-best option substitute) and how much is because she's Maya in her own right. Even worse is the possibility he might want her to channel Mia (or parts of Mia). With Phoenix there's never this issue, it's completely clear by the end of 1-4 he appreciates her as Maya in her own right irrespective of Mia or her ability to channel Mia.

Hah. Yeah. I never know where to assume the location of the Phoenix Wright universe.
The English translation doesn't really infer that the game takes place in Japan; especially with all the US pop culture references, etc.

I love this picture. I love the expression on Apollo's face, and the stiff awkward way he's holding himself. I love that Maya looks so happy and IC. Best of all, I love the depiction of their daughter's hair. YES. THIS IS WHAT THAT HAIR IS LIKE ON FEMALES! I'm excited. Now I know what my mental image should look like.
But their baby should be called MIA FEY II. I have semi-canon evidence!
