I'm not a great artist, but if I may make some suggestions?
- He looks stretched wide. Like he was an impression on putty. But in color. I think this is mostly due to proportion issues.
- The shirt has some decent shadowing, but it doesn't seem...natural. Like wearing a rock.
- Lighting source is off. If you will see, he has a light source from the left-front, but also has one coming down from above. if both are true, the shadowing must reflect this. I only one is true, the shadowing must reflect one of the lighting sources only.
- He has no nose.
Otherwise, I must say that this is a good sprite.
