Tsh. You all should know I plan everything in advance.

Which is, btw, why I've begun thinking about case 3 (and actually, to be honest, case 4 a little too much)
Yeah, I've decided to go for the cliche after all and go for a 'case 4 climax case'
after which case 5 just follows with a totally unrelated plot. Yeah.
I plan THAT far ahead.

PS. Case 3's going to be twice as epic as this one, and case 4 twice THAT.

....Case 5 will suck.

With how you were before it must be something that noone could thought of due to that it's too hard to think off at that current time continuum

or no clue at all :P

As for the Page 34: There is a very very small "stretch" on the "third" button there that doesn't exist, so i tmust be a lost piece or ripped off from the sleeve.

Again, the situation contradicts 1-3 and 3-5.

Wait, the scene before that is called "Final Frontier"? That makes slightly more sense than "Final Fantasy II" or "The Never Ending Story 2"!

I see no contradictions of no sort. Francis pretty much wrapped the case up.

1: Kafuuka seems safe, since there is no evidence left on her to be prosecuted.
2: Tsuki seems to be safe as well, since Fran hasn't found the clue yet, and Francis hasn't used the clue for her to notice it either.
So....what else can happen OR go Wrong?

I vote Spaceball MOnkey attacks.

O RLY now? While there could have been an alternate solution in 4-2, in 1-3 and 3-5 the court admitted it was impossible Powers and Iris couldn't have done it. Kafuka has as much evidence against her as anyone else.

I think that the only case that the situation "contradicts" is 1-3. Because, in 3-5 and 4-2, the real killer needed to be pointed out because there was little-to-no clue of who else could have done it. In 1-3 and Turnabout Despair, however, we get a group of people who could have done the deed.

By 1-3, Phoenix is still a rookie. Although Francis isn't any more experienced, he is much more capable of gaining control of things than Phoenix was in his rookie times.

Therefore, I could say there is no contradiction. It's only a matter of limiting the possible real killers, and comparing Francis to Phoenix as a rookie

Scorpion, I don't understand your logic. Francis said that he proved Kafuka couldn't have committed the crime, and that's all he needed to do. In 1-3 and 3-5, Phoenix proved the defendant could not have committed the crime, and Apollo did that in 4-2. It's the exact same situation.

And the fact that Francis is different from Phoenix and Apollo is no excuse. Phoenix and Apollo didn't just go, "Hm, I proved my defendant innocent, but I'll continue to put his/her neck on the line and find the murderer!" They were forced to because they couldn't get a not guilty verdict til they found the guilty party. If memory serves, one time they even explicitly stated that even if the defendant was proven innocent, the real murderer had to be caught to get a not guilty verdict.

btw, in 1-3, the only possible ppl who could have committed the crime were the people in Studio 2, specifically Dee, Sal, and the studio bigwigs. It's not like it's a giant, general group of ppl like here (Although in 4-2 there really was no clue as to who the real killer was.)

My point is that, in 1-3 and Turnabout Despair, not only did the defendant get proven not guilty, but it was also possible to determine possible real killers. In 3-5 and 4-2, there was absolutely no idea as to who could be the real killer, which could be considered a gap in the case -- I mean, it's not like the victim could have just been killed by random being that popped up from the shadows and vanished after the deed.

If that's right, then the only contradiction is with 1-3. And that's when the difference between the lawyers come to play.

What does whether or not the real killer could be determined have to do with anything? In the games Phoenix/Apollo not only had to prove his client innocent, but also find the guilty party, even when he proved his client was innocent. Now Francis proved Kafuka didn't do it, and is leaving it at that. It's a clear discontinuity. And the fact that it's different lawyers has nothing to do with it, because Phoenix/Apollo didn't have to do that because of their personalities, but because of the legal system.

(And stop saying they had no idea who the killer was in 3-5. After Iris was proved innocent, there were only 2 possible murderers.)
