Yeah, make them stop moving like that. It's a little distracting.

The sprites need A HELLUVA LOT of work, to be honest. For one, you can tell that it's still Payne with hair, a recolor, and eyes. In fact the eyes themselves need work. They look too small; either that or they're sinking into his face. Another thing is his arm. You can tell that it's just been ripped off of Naruhodou's and recolored. I mean, it doesn't even reach up to the guy's shoulders.

In short, work on them, chum. :|

To quote Udgey: "Let's all just be one big happy family... okay...?"
The retouching of the suit was done nicely. The main problems are the arm, which is disproportionate, and the guy's face, which is... err, I don't really know what to say. That said, practice in all things. I'm sure you'll be better in no time, huh? :redd:

Ah-- You might want to slow down a bit.

The colouration is spot on, but your C+Ping and editing needs a little work. Before doing the head, focus on getting that arm correct. You migt want to put the Phoenix and the Payne sprite you used side by side. Do you notice anything about their body structure, such as the height, or thickness of arms? Do have Phoenix's body parts *really* click with Payne, or indeed Frank, try to edit Phoenix's body parts to have the same thickness or length as Payne body parts.

Sorry, that was a total wall of text. If you want, I can give you an example. ^_^

Ok. The reason your sprites are shaking around like they've Parkinson's Disease is because they're not animated properly. You have to have all your sprites at the same level and size when you animate them. The suit recolour is decent enough, but the face and hair need a lot of work, k?

Review over.

The character's body isn't the problem here, it's the head shape. The way you've edited it, you've removed a bit of the face structure, so it doesn't look as good anymore. ;_; Scrap the head, and try editing Paynes head from scratch. This time, try not to disturb the face's outline. If you need to, make a copy of Payne's head on your sheet, and you can use it to correct any mistakes.

Here... is the most significative version of this sprite:
Image
Changes:
-The hair is totally different because is based on the original guy's hair
-The colour around the eyes are a bit better
I hope you like it!!

You might try and work on the facial structure. It looks like he's melting.

Which is usually not a good thing, unless it's some kind of fucked up witness breakdown.

Better, but you can tell that the arm's just been ripped off of another sprite and pasted on. I suggest getting rid of the line between the arm and chest and work on the shading to make it look like it's one unified sprite.

The eyes are a little better, but they still look like they're sinking into his face. The hair looks like it's falling off, too. Oh, and I can't see his mole.

Either way, it's an improvement.
