k, im going to looka t colleges soon, and i need to decide on my major. I think that i may just end up choosing law. thinking with logic was always my strongest point. even my standardized test scores have that to say.

Hell no. My father's a lawyer (general practice.. he does small claims but also some criminal law) and I remember him going to law school VERY vividly. He wound up spending 20 years in college because he did it all part-time. Well, that and, at first, he wanted to be a musician. He still plays the trumpet for funerals and memorial day.

It HAS helped in that I get out of Jury Duty all the time now (seriously, I've had jury duty twice in my life now, and both times they voted against recruiting me for the jury all because my father's a lawyer and my uncle's a retired judge.. you'd think they'd want someone who knows a little bit about it all, you know??)

also yeah, PW and real world law are quite different.

I Just CANT let people get away with crap.
My best friend keeps warning me that I need to 'let things go' before I end up getting myself in trouble, naturally I dont listen.

Also, its just the sort of thing good at; arguing and piecing together evidence.

I participated in this mock trial as a prosecutor in high school, and I thought it was really fun. When I do team projects in university, I'm also usually one of the stronger speakers in a presentation, even though I hate public speaking lol. My ex kept saying I should be a lawyer or politician cuz I like to debate and present really strong, logical arguments so much.. but I think I get too involved emotionally with people for that to happen. Plus the whole morality thing about defending someone who's actually guilty. JFA really made me think hard about what I'd do in a situation where I had to decide between a friend and the truth.. :payne: So yea.. I don't think my heart could handle it.. I'd be kept up countless nights wondering if I was right or wrong :yogi: . Besides that, I can totally see myself doing this in court:

"Witness! The evidence states that you did blah blah blah blah. That proves that blah blah blah!! .... But then.. I could be wrong..." :yuusaku:

I like the idea of being a defense lawyer. Unfortunately, I would be terrible in court - it's too nerve-racking for me.

I'll stick with graphic design as my major, and maybe minor in criminology or something :gumshoe:

I might be a lawyer. Or a forensic scientist, but probably a lawyer. I've always had a good sense of logic and I do very well in school. Also, I'm in the debate club at my school, and I LOVE it! So, yeah, that's probably going to be it. And Phoenix Wright definitely helped me choose.

P.S. Probably in a year or so I will regret this...

I'm working in video game development right now (which is Awesome*DeAwsum), but if it doesn't work out I've considered going back to school to study law (for reasons totally unrelated to Ace Attorney) or biology. Justice and science education are two things I feel strongly about, but they would both require abandoning my current skill set.

I remember doing a mock trial when I was like..11.

I went against EVERYONE and well, won. It was great

Judge: Its unanimous I must find ( like i remember his name) gui..

Me: WAIT! This man is innocent!

Long story short, I picked out the correct suspect and won lots and lots of candy ( Hey I was a little girl)

Ever since then Iv been into that sort of thing. Im good at it, and its fun. I know, it wouldnt be fun if it were my job but I could at leats feel like

Anyway I couldnt be a defense attorney I just CANT defend someone who is likely guilty

A definite no for me.

I actually wanted to be a defense attorney, before playing ace attorney.

then I wanted to be a prosecutor because FdrlPrsctrTails inspired me, so I changed my name from "ace_attorney_fan" to "prosecutorwannabe",
and now I want to be a 4chan moderator, so I changed my name to "wannabe4chanmod".

But, I still want to be a lawyer a little bit though...

When I was in eighth grade and ninth grade, I was really into the mock trials and I always grabbed a part; I was a defense attorney once and the prosecution the other few times. It seemed fantastic when you had all of the testimonies and evidence handed to you in a packet and could make a decision based on that. I can't quite remember when it clicked that most people hide things and evidence is fabricated... but, yeah. I'd never be able to live with convicting an innocent person or getting a guilty person off free. Sadly, most lawyers around here care more for their paycheck than justice. Not an environment I want to be in.

... anyway, I'm going to be an English teacher.

I don't want to learn that much, so no XD Lawyers have to learn a lot, and I'm too lazy for that.
But when I was younger, I wanted to be a lawyer... Today I would prefer being a detective. :maya:

One of the reasons I might fit as a lawyer, I don't have too much of a conscience so I could live with getting a fat paycheck and sending some poor bastard to jail :franny:

However defense attorneys don't make as much money as corporate lawyers in Sweden, so I could do without putting a single person in jail AND making more money as well!

I did go through a rather long "I want to be a defense attorney just like Phoenix Wright" phase...
But then i found out of my Uncle (who's a lawyer) that it's not as fun as it looks on the game.
+ You'd probably have to defend people who are actually guilty and I don't think i could.

I don't even have good public speaking skills. I'm shy and have low self-confidence. The only good thing, I guess, is I'm ludicrously stubborn. But if law fails, I've got backup...
