Oh, Meekins. What does he NOT do?

From out of the blue... Artemis stops lurking and posts. Woo-hoo!

Love your comic, Greeny. Interesting how Francis can "perceive" things that are hidden even by the witness stand... (the missing button. GOTCHA!)

Funny. I often feel sorry for Gumshoe, but for some reason, I don't feel that much pity for Meekins. I wonder why that is.

On a not-so-related note, I realized another reason as to why Francis could acquite his client without determining a real killer.

Spoiler:
1-3, we have a bunch of possible real killers, and no motive for any of them. And it was also not determined how did the body end up at a distinct crime scene.
3-5 and 4-2, no possible real killer proven, nor any motive proven.
Turnabout Despair, we have a bunch of possible real killers with proven M.O.s and motives.

So what? I clearly remember thouroughly pointing out the validness two weeks ago.
...Okay maybe not two weeks but you get the picture.
Prosecutor Scrorpion's arguments do seem to hold sense... Somewhere, but I can't
be bothered to find it. It has something to do with something.

Spoiler:
Then just retype it. In 3-5 there were 2 possible murders, several in 1-3, a ton in 4-2, and several in TD. How does that justify not finding the real killer?

(btw, I'm not saying "It contradicts canon and these cases and he should have found the murderer!" I'm just asking to clarify your argument, and when I get it I won't start saying "It contradicts canon and these cases and he should have found the murderer!" either.

It's the judge's call. That's basically what it all comes down to.

Of course with that idiot Wright udgey's not going to want to give an aquittal
for anything short of a solidly proven guilty one.

Nah. I just wanted to see what they meant when they were talking about how there were a lot of killers with TD with motives or whatever Scorpion said, since that doesn't directly go with not needing to find the actual murderer. (While saying it's the judge's call and saying that there being a lot of killers (or w/e) makes it more likely that the judge doesn't need the DA to prove who the murderer is, does.)

EDIT: Although arguing would be a good way to waste time while Greeny preps TCT... *plot plot plot*

Lol. Your comic randomly reminded me of Episode 6. I just got a deja vu-ish feeling.... It's not my fault they were similar!!

Spoiler: PA Epis 1-6
Of course, it took me half a year to figure out the whole "Call me 'Daddy'!" thing in episode 5 (or 4 or whenever it was).

Oh god... when I figured it out, I went :beef: the rest of the day.

Spoiler: Paranoia Agent epis 1-6. WARNING: Very very very very very very very disturbing
In the first half of Paranoia Agent, each episode basically focuses on 1 character and goes really in-depth on them. So in episode 6 it's about a runaway girl, and we find out that she ran away because her father put a secret camera in her room and took pictures of her undressing. At the end of the episode we find out that her father is the main character from the previous episode.

In the previous episode, there were a lot of scenes with prostitutes. (Or in epi 4. Or maybe 3. Well, there were a lot of prostitute-scenes in epi 3, but I don't know if it was these scenes.) And when he's with the prostitues, he tells them "Call me Daddy".

If you can't put 2 and 2 together from there I can just tell you, but I reallly don't want to type it out... :shy:

Bleh. If I wanted 1 character to have a happy ending, it was her =\ (She turns into a vegetable)

I guess you could get sad about not looking good in the girls uniform. But why do you need to stay emo when you get into the boys uniform and look awesome?

The boys uniform is more awesome.
I meant though, that I'd be a bit emo... if I had a father that behaved in such ways.

But we can see that she became emo only because of the uniform, since her eyes didn't shadow over until she realized she looked bad!

(And it's obviously 100% set in stone canon, being an omake and all.)

I wonder how well Francis would operate in a LS world... if he could survive the innocent stupidity of Tsukasa, the fangirlish-ness of Konata, the tsundere-ness of Kagami, and the meganekko-moe-ness of Miyuki.
