I've been browsing around these boards and I'm just apalled at some people, there are a few that are really bad, but almost every single thread will have ONE person who just has to flame. And I'm also going to expand this to people who seem to think they need to go on a curse filled rant. I'm going to separate these two into two points.
Point 1: Nobody Cares What You Have to Think When You Flame
Maybe it's just me, maybe not, but when I see a flamer, it just makes me wonder whats happening to the human race. To quote some blatant flaming, and just plain pointless stupidity from an anynomus source:
Quote:
Oh, now I get it
You guys like [CENSORED SHOW NAME] because it's just like your life
Except instead of knowing any girls, you're just unsociable nerds
Really? Really? Was that really nessecary, I mean, because someone likes something you don't like you reply like this, allow me to point out that in an earlier post this person said "this is the worst show on televison" (or something along those lines) a few other people defended their opinon. But don't flame, and don't recess into immaturity, frankly when you flame then get immature with name calling and spamming, you remind me of how liberals debate people who don't agree with them.
Point 2: Civility Is What Separates Us From The Apes
Yes there are monkeys who can text, and can paint. I'm aware of that. But were civilized, thats how we know we're different, we were made importantly. But when you fling poo, and go into indiscernable, innane rants in which the f-bomb is a comma, do you really think people are able to respect you? I'm not directing this to one person. No, frankly, I've done this myself a few months ago, and I saw what happened. My friends thought I was a fool. I honestly doubt this will affect anyone, for as long as the internet exists there will be somone to troll it.
Well, to end on a lighter note... that should be an internet rule: Rule 87: As long as at least one site on the internet remains, there will always be someone to troll the web.
