Hmm...Matt Smith? I remember him from Ruby and the Smoke where I liked his charecter so he might not be that bad. However I'm pretty certain he won't be as good as David Tennant. He's the best...and such a great actor and really hot too...

Which episode was Midnight? Personally my favourite episode ever was Blink. God that scared me. I'm scared pretty easily though. :payne:

Blink was awesome those angels were freaky but agreed I don't think he'll be as good as David Tennant but at least he's not a woman.

Don't get me wrong! I'm not sexist against women it's just I heard rumors about that and was outraged it seemed to me a desperate attempt to be PC and breaking an age old tradition of Doctors.

Why is David Tennant quitting anyway?

I have no idea. He said that he loved playing the role and how he enjoyed working with all the great people...Then why are you leaving us David? Why WHY?

Yes Blink was incredibly scary and yet still my favourite episode. Stevan Moffat (who wrote Blink) is taking over writing so i can't wait to see what he does with the show and directing the new Doctor.

Those angels really freaked me out. I actualy had trouble going to sleep for a while because i kept gonig over the worst, scarriest parts of that episode in my head-

For example: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NPR_37NsXW8

:beef: It was so scary! Especially the part where he looks away for a second and it's right in him face. Everytime i see that i scream spontaniously...

David Tennant stopped due to not just being solely identified as "just the guy who played the Doctor" for the rest of his career, and is currently busy with other projects.

Oh, shame. My lucky friend got to see him in Hamlet, he nearly got me an autograph...Still, i must stay positive. I'm sure that Matt Smith will be good. But it just won't be the same...

On Doctor Who Confidential show they said they wanted someone old so I guess if Matt S wasn't chosen then they probably would've picked some older person.
Also I think the new doctors hair is really strange (am I the only one?) but :yuusaku: I guess I can't base a actor on his hair , can I?
Apparently Matt S is a great actor but still, it must be hard having to replace David Tennant :sadshoe:

The hair does strike me as odd...kinda emoish I think.

It's not the hair, It's the shape of his head. He has a rather odd shaped head/face.
Due to the high hairline, his hair does seem more odd then it would on another.

Now i'm not insulting him or anything, just pointing it out.

Midnight was the one where they got confined to the shuttly thing, and that woman kept repeating everyone.

Cracking TV that, freaked me out.

I hated Midnight. But I've said that all ready.

Apparently one of the reasons he was chosen was his hair... I'll try and find a source for that.

it don't mind his hair but my brother noticed he had odd eyebrows which were practically non-existant.

Ohh now i know what you talking about. I liked that episode because parts of it where beautiful (when they saw outside the shuffle) and i loved the charecter Geffro (a.k.a Merlin). He was so hot in that... I didn't really find the episode scary though...Not compared to Blink.
