Quite a lot of comments, let's see...
First off, Great you all enjoyed it! ^_^

@Person-Man: Actually, this was my first little dab using resources from other games, a test if you will.
And it worked out pretty good, I got some parts from the sprite database site, I'm sure you'll find something useful there.

back at you... well, here's a question then - what program does ceres use to animate his sprites? i can draw sprites fairly well (i'll probably open a sprite thread soon) but don't know how to turn them into animated GIF images. if i knew what program he uses, i can just do them myself!

As i have stated multiple times on this and other threads, I only use Gimp to animate.
Paint and/or PS for spriting.
Should you need help with it, feel free to ask.
