The fight was going pretty well, and I was down to only one Brit Popquin and the Nefastraven... Suddenly, the Nefastraven flew right above me, and I started taking damage for NO REASON! The Brit Popquin was stuck behind a Car (I made sure it followed me, so I could fight it seperately), so it wasn't doing it... the Nefastraven wasn't even doing an attack to DAMAGE me! I used "Sweet Talk Tether" on it, and ran to the other side of the stage, and I was STILL getting hit! I thought the game glitched and was about to turn it off, when just as suddenly, I stopped taking damage...
No idea what happened... Neku's Defense is 14 (+ 48), and I was getting dealt 96 damage over and over again rapidly... I STILL have no clue what caused it...

That is weird........... Nothing like that ever happened to me, but there are some weird glitches in this game.........

... Wait... Actually, the worst is Doom Metal Drake's "Fire Breath"... Especially on anothing above Normal... It sucks, because if it's attacking with OTHER Noise, and they're in front of it, there's pretty much nothing you can do to stop the attack before it occurs with Beat... with NEKU, it's easy, but with Beat... well, unless I have a Fusion saved up, I tend to die during the attack... since Neku takes FOREVER to use Monkey Leisure, or Peace Full...

Weird glitches? Like what? Only thing I've seen so far (which did freak me out a little) was when I was fighting... I forget what, but something with a dash attack or something which I don't quite remember, and right when it started to use that, I used Joshua's level 2 fusion, and then the game froze. It was also kinda funny because I honestly wondered, right before the game froze, how it was gonna deal with the fusion going on while the Noise was doing that right at that moment. XD

Use Block. I tried it this morning. When the attack starts, use Block and Beat should be able to make it. Then heal if you need to. I haven't tried it with Shiki though, but it'll probably work too.
Thinking about it, I think people underestimate Joshua as a partner just because he's a jerk in the story. He's probabbly one of the best partners in the game. Think about it. His air attacks deal more damage and are easier to use, with the added bonus that attacks like the Drake's "Fire Blast" miss him completely. It may be a little hard to get used to him, but he's a really strong partner.

I just hold down on it, and it blocks pretty well.
