I haven't taken too much German, but shouldn't the V in Klavier sound a little more like an F? Or is this one of those exception words? I always thought his name would sound a little softer in German, but the V-sound makes it really harsh, at least in the clips above. ^^;

My elementary school teacher once told me: "When a V is not pronounced like an F, it is a foreign language word."
So words like "Vogel" or "vielleicht" are German words, words like "Klavier" or "extravagant" are French words and thus, the V is pronounced like an English/French V.
Hey, that means it's not wrong at all pronouncing it the French way. w00t! =DD
Edit: Well, German is said to be an aggressive language, isn't it? I'm not surprised it sounds harsh to you ^^'

By the way, there's something I've always wondered about Klavier and his audible air guitar. Why can't he just have a real guitar in court? I mean, what with the whipping, toupee flinging, animal attacking, and coffee tossing that already goes on, I'm sure a guitar wouldn't be over the top.
