That's because in Shakespeare's theater, all actors were men. I don't think they used costumes either....
Also, the "balcony" they used for the plays would've been an area that had good and expensive seats, so Juliet would've been with a bunch of other people for the balcony scene. :redd:

Rosalind Franklin was the first to discover that DNA had the double helix shape using x-rays. (she actually died of radiation poisoning) Watson and Crick used this information to make the first accurate model of DNA. The Nobel Prize was awarded to Watson and Crick, but Franklin wasn't included because you can't give a nobel prize to a dead person.

:sassy: Horray for science, indeed.

In Roman mythology, Pluto is the god of the underworld.

In Greek mythology, Pluto is a water nymph.

>_>

Also, in Norse mythology, Loki and Odin can change genders o_O (Loki is the mother of Odin's horse.)

In greek mythology, Teriseas (sp?) was a man, but somehow turned into a woman, but then somehow turned back into a man. One day, Zeus and Hara were having an argument about which sex is more flirtatious (or something like that.) They bring Teriseas into the argument because he ha slived as both man and woman. He said that wwomen are definitly more flirtaious (or whatever) and Hara got mad and made him blind. Zeus felt bad, so he gave him the power to see the future.

In Greek mythology, some kids' father was also their brother.

I aint playing. This dude Oedipus was born, and his pop heard that his son would kill him and marry his wife, so he orders the baby to be exposed to nature, but the guard ordered to do so thought the baby was too cute to kill, so he gave him to some rural family that raised him. Then the baby grew up and decided to visit the city, and he meets a guy on his way and kills him. Then he goes to the city and falls in love with, marries, and has some kids with an older woman and becomes king. But it turned out that the man he killed was his pop and the woman he married was his momma. So he was his kids' father AND brother. But when everyone found out, all hell broke out, his momma commited suicide and he poked his eyes out, and a war starts and so on.

The classic Tradgedy written by Aclesyus (Sp?). There are actually 3 plays in this series, and Oedopius (I know it's wrong) had 4 kids with his mother. 2 boys and 2 girls.

Pistachio's are extremely dangerous. They are classified under class 4.2 of the International Maritime dangerous goods code: Substances liable to spontaneous combustion. This is because pistachios continue to absorb oxygen and give out carbon dioxide after harvesting, so if stored under enough pressure, they will burst into flames. Also, if you were in a small room without ventilation, with several sacks of pistachios, you'de die of carbon dioxide poisoning. There you go.

Let's see what I can remember.

- SEGA, originally Service Games, started out in Honolulu, Hawaii before moving to Japan.

- In Puerto Rico, it is OBLIGATORY for every company to give out Christmas bonus checks to every employee. (With the only exception being when the company files for bankruptcy.)

- Mickey Mouse's ears are always drawn the same way in front, sides and back.

- The film industry began doing films in widescreen to have an edge on television.

- Manta rays are generally docile creatures, and do not attack unless they feel threatened. Thus, their human death toll is very low.

- On a semi-related note, Steve Irwin once said he was extra careful when doing his documentaries, stunts, etc. because he didn't wish to become a statistic... and ironically, he became part of one of the rarest statistics out there.
