Charles leaned against the saloon wall and breathed slowly. He had to avoid the action rush to avoid carelessness. Ty walked out of the bar, dropping a paper. Charles discreetly picked it up and snuck into an alley. He read the paper and his hand jerked. "He's an agent. I knew it..." He read it again, finding the date and train information, planning an ambush. Charles hid the paper and folded his arms. "I need backup."

Ty smiled and said "You ain't gotta curtsey to me. I'm good." He looked over at Charles, who slid into an alleyway. "I wouldn't say were friends, more like someone we just know." Ty said. He turned his attention to Kali. "I just got a telegram. My momma's very sick. I has to go see her. She lives in Washington DC. Some family set up a train that's waiting at West Louisiana Station, about 30 miles south of here." This was a lie. All of Ty's family had died in slavery. But it was a solid story. Shouldn't be much doubt.

"30 miles is too far to walk. We need horses." he said. He turned his head to the Wells Fargo buggy. "Or a carriage!" he said.

"Whoo, Lawdie this is gonna be fun!" Ty said, laughing excitedly. He peeked into the bar. The Wells Fargo guy was drunk out of his mind. He was on the floor with vomit leaking out of his mouth. "I don't think he gonna mind!" Ty said. He examined the buggy. It was brand new with 6 horses pulling it. Opening the door, there were no packages or telegrams inside. This must've been his last round, Ty thought. There was enough room for everyone in there, and Ty could drive the carriage. "I think we all good!" he said. "We just need to get everyone over here," he told Daisy.

"All righty," Daisy turned around and called to Kali. "Miss Kali, it looks like y'all're haulin' out!" She turned to Ty. "An' what about your acquaintance in the trench coat?"
She opened her mouth to say something further, but seemed to reconsider it, lapsing into silence. After a second, she finally blurted it out.
"Oh, Mr. Prince, I jus' got fired an' I ain't got no place to stay, kin I please come with all of you?" As if to encourage him, she added, "I... I can sing real good!"

Ty thought for a moment. What's one more person going to hurt. Besides, she's cute anyway. And she could be of some help. After about 45 seconds of thinking, Ty finally said, "Sure you can come along, but some arrangements has to be made cause that buggy only fits 2 people side by side. Someone would have to sit up top with me."

In the meantime, Ty called over to Charles: "Hey shady boy! We leavin! Get yo behind over here!" Ty thought for a moment. That guy bothers me. I don't want him up there with me.. Then he blurted out all of a sudden, "Shady boy goes in the buggy."

Ty got onto the seat and started the horses going. The sun was beginning to set. "If I go fast enough, I should be able to get to Louisiana before the moon starts rising." he said. The desert was dangerous at night. Banditos could be hiding anywhere, and this time of year, it was really cold at night. He planned to shoot any banditos that seemed to be approaching the buggy. After about 45 minutes of riding, Ty could see lights in the distance. "That must be the city," he said. The sun was almost down. There was still a streak of orange in the horizon. "That's where the station is" he said.

Once the sun was mostly set, Kali folded up her parasol. She wasn't worried about the dangers that may lie ahead. If something did happen, she could either seduce someone, brake they're arm, or shoot them if she needed to.

((I know I've been letting the 50 word rule slide, but at least try to post more than 3 words))

Ty pulled into the city. "The station's a few blocks from here. Let's leave the wagon here sos we don't draw too much attention." He hopped off of the seat and opened the door. "We're here! Come on!" He made sure his weapons were out of sight. He didn't do much for the ammo belts though. "It's a private train, so we don't have to worry about weapons checking." he said. The President had reserved Engine 5 for him before. It was truly a luxury train, not to mention one filled with secret doors and traps. The secrets were for protection mostly. Hidden weapons, switches that carry out various tasks, and so on. As for luxury, it had bedrooms, a small kitchenette, 2 lavatories, a billiards table, and other facilities. Ty started walking towards the station.

Ty entered the station. He headed toward the track with his train. The gate was blocked by a rather large guard. "Get outta here, n*gger. This train is reserved for someone by the President himself." He said, holding his hand out to block the entrance. "Gimme a pen and pad, sir" Ty said. The guard found a piece of chalk in his pocket. "Ain't got any paper." Ty went to the wall alongside the guard and signed his name. The guard's face changed when he pulled a paper out of his pocket and compared the signatures on the paper and wall. They were the same.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Prince. Didn't know it was you. Please go on, the President's a waitin'" said the guard. Ty proceeded. "They's with me." he said, motioning to the others.

I should've told 'im to keep Charles out. I don't trust that man, Ty thought to himself as he proceeded to the train. Engine 5 also known as The Wanderer.

Charles entered the train silently, giving the doorman an icy stare. He observed the surroundings, checking for ambush locations and possible weapon caches. Finding the area clear, he took a seat and ordered some wine from the attendant. He liked nothing more than casual pleasures like wine and fine cuisine. As he sat, he thought carefully about his new mission. Once in Washington, Charles planned a presidential assassination. One more reason to kill Ty, he thought.

Charles rolled his eyes discreetly and grudgingly looked over at her. "Excuse me, I didn't hear you," he said politely. He learned early on to always stay cordial, no matter what he actually felt. Of course, he had heard her, and he could tell what she thought of him, but he hid this knowledge.

Ty opened the intercom (which was really just a pipe that went all the way to the engineer's car) and yelled "Everyone's on board. Full steam ahead!" "Very good!" the engineer replied. The train started to pull out of the station. Once at full speed, Ty sat down on the couch. "Gettin' to Washington should take 'bout 3 days," Ty said. "I sure hope Momma's still livin' by then" he said, trying to hold up the lie.

He looked at the clock. It was about 9 PM. He took off his hat and put it on the armrest. "We got 2 bedrooms on this train. They in that car up there" Ty said. "I figurin' we have the women in one room and guys in the oth--" he stopped mid-sentence to think. Then he said "Actually, Charles can have the other room. I'll sleep on the couch in here!" he said. He didn't want Charles near him. He just didn't trust him that much.

"Just thought I'd get that outta the way." he said. It was about ten minutes before the engineer came in on the intercom saying "We've just left Louisiana, sir!"

Ty got up to look around. The Wanderer was his favorite train. It was a three car train minus the engineer's car and the coal wagon. The first car had the dining area and kitchenette. The second car had the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms, and the last car, the longest car, was the lounge, where there were sofas, recliners, a billiards table, and the other bathroom. The lounge was where everyone was.

Kali stood up and went to bathroom. Once inside, she stood at the sink. "Hmmm... what can I do?" she said quietly. She tightened her corset (and all of it's contents) so tight that she could barley breathe. She then pulled out a small make-up kit (from her corset, of course) and applied some lip stick, eye shadow, etc... When she was done, she went back out and sat next to Charles.

Continuing his assassination plans, Charles thought of any equipment he would need for the job, the White House layout and any other things. He'd heard that after Lincoln's assassination, the president would have new bodygaurds with him at all times. As he thought, Kali came back with make-up and other things that were supposed to sway Charles. He resisted the urge to laugh.

[Okay, guys. I'm re-joining this thing. Same character. My character, Parker Karr, happened to be at the saloon when you all were there, overheard the conversation about going to Washington, and decided he needed to get out of this town and went to the station and snuck on the train. At this point he's hiding in the bedroom car. Alright? Alright.]

Parker paced the car. Thank god I'm out of that dump... This may be one of the best decisions I've made in a while! He sat down on one of the beds and opened his bag. Let's see, what did I bring... He didn't have time to grab stuff he needed, so he only brought what was in his bag at the moment. He pulled out a bottle of Jack Daniels he stole from the saloon. Don't need this... yet. He reached in again and pulled out a Smith & Wesson revolver. He smiled, and set it on the bed. He put his hand in once more and pulled out a handful of coins. Whiskey, a gun, and 5 dollars. Great. He laid back on the bed.

Ty got up from the couch. "I's gonna go see what's cooking." Ty said. He went out of the lounge car and into the car with the bedrooms. As he walked past one of them, he heard something coming from inside. "We on a train." he said. "There's all sorts of sounds." He went into the Diner and checked to see if the chef was doing anything. "We've-a got-a some-a delicious seafood-a cookin' now, Mr. Prince!" Ty nodded and headed back to the lounge.

Passing the bedroom again, he heard a voice, but it was too quiet to make out what was being said. He reached into his jacket and pulled out his gun. He cocked it as quietly as he could and opened the door in the same way. Looking in he saw a man in a black jacket on the bed. Gun still at ready, Ty said "Who are you?"

SHIT! How the hell... Parker got up from the bed swiftly. He quickly walked to the door. "Look, pal, I don't want any trouble... The name's Parker. Parker Karr. And who the hell might you be?" he asked with a sarcastic tone, trying to hide the fact that he was nervous. He could feel the sweat dripping down his face, dripping down on to his jacket.

Ty tried to open the door, but the guy on the other side was holding it shut. Two choices, he thought, shoot the handle off the door or be patient?. Then he remembered last time he damaged something in the train the President made him pay for it. He placed his gun back in the holster.

"I ain't gonna hurt you!" Ty called out. "'Less you hurt me first." Ty was trying an approach different to his usual shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more, and when everyone is dead try to ask a question.

"My name is Tyray!" he said. "As I said afore, I ain't gonna hurt you, now open the door."

Charles got up slowly with a grunt, sighing slightly. "What's going on?" he asked tiredly. He heard the man inside the room's seemingly terrified voice. "A stowaway...? On a presidential train?" Suddenly, Charles felt less worried about his mission. "Ty, who is this person? What's he doing here?"

"He claims his name is Parker Karr. I think he might be a stowaway." Ty responded. Ty slid the door open. "Come out here!" he yelled. "Ain't nobody gonna hurt you."

Ty was hoping this man was a friend, but he was ready to draw if he was otherwise. His gun, however, was out of sight. He made sure of that. Only thing that could be intimidating was the ammo belts across his chest.

[Bedknobs and broomsticks, I'm sorry I haven't been on in like a week. ^^; I was out of town, and school's started again, and it's crazy. Wuargh.]

Daisy, who had been staring vaguely out the window since finding a seat, was awakened from her daydream when Ty spoke. Having been absorbed in the view being whisked by her, she was surprised to find her companions gone when she turned around to say something.
"Heavens to Bessie," she pouted. "They done forgotten 'bout me already."
Curious, she stood up and headed toward the corridor from which she'd heard Ty, and saw Kali, Ty, and Charles clustered around the door of a particular compartment. She quickly strode over, looking to Kali in confusion.
"Say, who's Ty a-botherin'?"

Ty followed Parker into the lounge, guard still up. "Who are you, and why you on this train? This here's is a private train reserved for me and my friends by the p---" he caught himself fast "my family. Ain't nobody one else should be on this train."
