Really hope Mikumo and Edgeworth (as the fangirls say) are canon. Last time i checked the creator of PW series said only the gameplay part of this game gives it the "Spin-off" tag.

I highly doubt that's going to be true. Plus, she's so much younger than him. And the fact that the Gyakuten games aren't known for romance. Just like all the other games, I'm sure that the main characters will be hinted at relationships with several other characters, but nothing will really be confirmed. Just to make shipping more fun. ^_^

Capcom had announced at some point that there will be a GS5. I think they're just concentrating on GK before they let us know anything about GS5. Perhaps once GK is out, we'll get some info?

Is it confirmed Mikumo is 17? If so, I don't see Mikumo/Edgeworth. The age difference is pushing it, Edgeworth must be ~27, so I doubt it will be 'implied'.
I wasn't immediately captured by the 'yet another teenage girl sidekick' but that sprite of her grinning toothily has converted me. I wish I could get the association of character design out of my head that she is somehow Phoenix and Edgeworth's daughter, or Maya and Edgeworth's daughter. Of course it makes no sense.
Anyway, TGS 2008 might finally make it to the Internet!

I found the translation for GK, so it was all right. Loved the music at the start of the case. From what I saw/played, the game plays a bit like AA except showing the characters walking/running etc.

Those games were re-releases of the GBA GS games. When GS 4/AJ was released in Japan, it did not have the English component, so I doubt this one will either. Is this in the FAQ? If not, then it should be.

Given Croik's translation this does indeed seem as easy as the AA 1st cases. The demo is short, but longer than the AJ demo, there's a short investigation part and then the 1st part of the "confrontation phase".
The case is still clear as mud at this point so I'd assume it will go on for quite a while after the demo.

But, I skimmed through the rest of the translation. So, I have a good idea of what the game's about so far.
