There was a woman around here. Her daughter was at a friend's house, and when the woman went to pick her daughter up she called her daugher's cell, but it was dead, so to get her daughter out she called the police.

Note she didn't ring the doorbell or knock on the door :nick:

*insert much-needed racist joke*

Quote:
McNuggets, introduced to the McDonald’s national menu in 1983, are sold in more than 100 countries and, unlike the McDouble, are often dunked in barbecue or hot mustard sauce.

Goodman’s 10-piece selection has 460 calories and 29 grams of fat.

Unneeded information.

Oh my god! Wow.

And is a McDouble a double cheese burger? I've not been to McDonalds in a long time but haven't heard of McDoubles.

As for bothering the emergency services, some people on drunk nights out ring for an ambulance to drive them home.

that be true.

My god, calling 9-1-1 just cause they out of McNuggets. Now, I love McNuggets, but I wouldn't call emergency services if they ran out. Though I would whoop that cashier's ass if I didn't get my refund.

If they won't give you a refund, aren't you supposed to ask to speak to the manager? Also, shouldn't the cashier have known they were out of Nuggets when the order was placed. Seems stupidity exists on both sides of the counter.

Don't you call the Manager first? Unless he also works at the police station.

The only one I know is the one where the woman calls 911 to get the cops that were at her house before back because she got the hots for one of them. They came back(not sure if it was the same ones) and arrested her. Yeah nice, drug crap, loonies, murders, are all out there and they arrest someone who doesn't know how to get a policeman's number after they already gone and left. The dood could of had a nice new wife(if he didn't have one. I don't remember if he did or never said).

What the hell is wrong with people? Also, shouldn't the operator have just hung up on him and tried to help someone in need of 911 services?

I saw this on Livejournal and thought it was pretty funny and sad at the same time. This time the 911 Operator is the failure

So the dood has to go to court? Just give the guy a ticket. Wth does he need to go to court? That like parking in a handicap spot and instead of a fine he has to go to court? It a waste of time, If he wants to appeal the charges fine since it normal but I see that as a waste of everyone time just for someone to go to a court when they can just give him the fine right there on the spot.

This is an extended version of one of the calls in the video above, and it's my personal favorite:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ12Ry-hD6I

I remember when I was little I did this like twice. I didn't really understand back then, so it's not like I knew what was going on, but...yeah. They once sent a social worker to the house because I called over a broken faucet.

I got you guys a worse story.

I have a friend that lives in the US (last I heard he'd moved to Illinois). He (like me) loves seafood, but he's (also like me) severely allergic to it, although his reaction's rather deadlier than mine, as he displays signs of choking when he eats them. Well, last month was the third reported time in less than a few months that his sister told me he'd stop by at a seafood restaurant, make a huge order, wolf it down and immediately call 911 to get himself picked up and treated.

Beat that. And yes, I know he's an asshole.

Ah, but then it's like attempted suicide and should be treated as such, so I guess people commiting suicide then calling 911 (or 999 over here!) should get a criminal record or some such thing.
