Oh, how have I not seen this before~?

I am quite literally OBSESSED with fashion. All my friends come to me for advice on clothes.

My favorite look right now is a simple white beater with a fitted black satin vest, over gray straight leg (not skinny, I'll get to that later) jeans and black ballet flats. Oh, and with big earrings in varying colors. Just so it isn't all monotone.

Skinny jeans are amazing, but they don't fit me. Compared to how skinny I am, my ass is HUGE. Skinny jeans just won't fit :C Now, I suppose there are some brands that would fit, but Apple Bottoms disgust me. So I'm stuck with straight leg. Which isn't really a problem, because they look skinny enough on me. Oh, and bootcut = ew.

Ah, shoes. I'm big on shoes, but private Catholic school is REALLY strict. So I wear my red lace-up Vans or my classic black Chucks all the time. I love heels and dressy shoes, but they aren't really practical. I wear my AMAZING Vans outside of school. They don't sell them anymore, but they ARE epic. White with teal and gray skulls and crescents. SOOOO pretty <3

Tops, when I'm being a lazyass, are just various tanks tops. Ellemenno ones are my fave. I ahve a pale blue beater with pink edging and EMO CLOUDS. Adorable x10. I almost exclusively shop at Aeropostale and Hollister for my shirts. Yes, I am a slave to teenage fashion. But they're pretty high quality and good-looking. *shrugs*

Hoodies I get from Hollister and PacSun. I currently only have three :C A BEAUTIFUL gray-and-black Zoo York one, and two Hollister hoodies, one teal, one navy.

Sadly, I can only really get FASHIONABLE on the weekends. My uniform is evil >:C White polo, plaid skirt, crimson sweatshirt. No dangly earrings allowed, no other jewelry, only certain shoe colors, no colored socks, no hair adornments. Zetta EW. *shrugs* But I guess I deal.

Guh, reading Sho's post makes me feel really unfashionable. XD

I don't really care about shoes and even though I'm not skinny enough to wear skinny jeans in the first place, I don't really like how they look.

I had to wear a uniform in middle school. D: We had to wear white or cardinal polos with the school logo on them and beige or navy pants, shorts, or SKORTS. And the pants/shorts/skorts were made out of this awful polyester material. :/ What really bothered me is that the only coats we could wear were uniform ones that were kind of expensive and didn't help much when it's FREEZING outside. Glad that's over with...

Aw, Fatal, don't feel bad! You don't have to be fashionable to be awesome! Hehe.

LySs: Holy shiz, those clothes are CUTE! But yes, much too expensive :sadshoe: And I agree, the outfit is sweet, but the shoes look uncomfortable :P

Right now I'm wearing a really pretty babydoll. I used to LOATHE 'em, but now I really like them. Thank God for letting my boobage kick in :3

D8 I could never wear a uniform. EVER. I could barely do dance, because the teachers had to have us ALL LOOK ALIKE, even during practice. Lavender Leotard, tight bun, bangs pinned back, a very specific type of tan stockings, and the exact same type of ballet shoes. It was hell for me. I'm not happy looking like everyone else. I NEED to wear my clothes. They are part of me, they make me happy. D8

If my school goes to uniforms, I'm going to be homeschooled. Unless, the uniforms are the Japanese school-girl type. 8D

Well, for me the dresses are the ones priced inappropriately. They're so small-looking... I don't know, but for how much material a hoodie uses, along with their unique designs, 100+ dollars seems like a pretty fair price > u <

I guess it is reasonably priced, but I don't think I'd spend all that money on one clothing item. I'd rather spend $100 for 3 hoodies than just one. Not that I'm cheap or anything, but I try to be careful with money especially when you're an art college student. (Food, necessities, art supplies...etc.)
And especially when your roommate eats your food without asking RAWR :zenny:

Like Charlotte Russe, their sale racks are <3. :edgy: I got some really cute tops which were $7 to $10 each.

I don't buy expensive clothing often. At least "high end expensive". I do shop Banana Republic though, I'm not sure if that counts as expensive... It seems expensive to me.

I'll post some new purchases from there actually soon after I figure out a nice place to set up the camera's timer. I look so nifty.

I just went into my closet and took out all of the clothes I didn't like or only half-liked and put them in a big pile in the laundry room to give away.

It felt good. :D

Oh yeah, I have a clothing donation box near my house. I found it by accident while taking a walk the other day and literally gave them the shirt off my back.

I should stop by some time to dump off whatever's in my closet that I don't like or wear anymore.

It's simple but yeah.

Oh lawl, last year my mom wanted me to clean out my closet to get rid of clothes that I don't like anymore, don't fit, will never wear, rips, etc.

So when I make this huge pile of clothing on the floor, she then has a shitstorm on why I'm throwing a lot of these clothes out. I'm like "...uhh you just told me to...."
"BUT WHY ARE YOU THROWING THIS NICE BLACK SWEATER OUT??"
"...because I have a million black sweaters?"

"WHY ARE YOU THROWING THIS AWAY? YOU'VE NEVER WORN IT!"
"...that's the point."

It just pisses me off that she complains that I have too many clothes in my closet, and when I clean it out, she complains about the clothes I'm throwing away. *sigh....*

EDIT: I took the censorbar off. I figured, meh, I already posted myself on facebook and the Post Your Pictures thread, theres no point to censoring now :gumshoe:

That's a very cute top, LySs. Sometimes keeping it relatively simple is better than... Well - wearing something that doesn't suit you. I generally keep my style simple for easy movement... Though I must say, I dress like a bum half the time - I get cold rather easily, so I tend to bundle up to stay warm...

@HH: BR is not cheap, so yeah, it's on the higher end. I used to shop at BR, they do have very stylish (and simple) clothes, and if you could find them on the sale rack - they are very reasonable and affordable...

PFFFFFTHAHAHAHAHAH

That's EXACTLY like my mom. XD She was doing that when I was cleaning out my closet as I was mentioning in my previous post.

A good example...

"But this is a perfectly nice pair of black pants!"
"Mom, I have A LOT of black pants."

XD

My closet is full of clothes that I NEVER WEAR. I honestly have to go on a major shopping trip at least once every season because I get SO bored with my clothes, but if I throw out any of my old clothes my mom gets all pissed like "HEY I JUST BOUGHT YOU THAT!" And I'm kinda a pack rat so I hate to throw stuff out ... so it just ends up sitting in my closet.

Anyway I took some pics of my outfit today. (yes, in my bathroom. IT HAS GOOD LIGHTING.)

Ambiance is really pretty. :D

Anyway, if you have a lot of clothes you don't wear, I think it would be a good idea to donate some of it to Goodwill or Salvation Army or some other charity. There's always someone who needs clothes. :) Tell your mom it's for a good cause.

I'll shop fucking everywhere and NOT buy anything.

'cause if they made fashionable clothes for fat people the world would explode. Also, I wear pink.

Speaking of which, I need to order a pink singlet.

D2 is the best clothes store in Britain. I buy something there pretty much every time I go in there :D usually shoes as they sell Converse and skate shoes cheap, I also saw these boots there that had garden gnomes on them, I might buy them next time. Today I'm wearing my bright blue Mighty Boosh Crack Fox t-shirt, red skinnys and yellow Converse with bunny rabbits on. I'm a big fan of the primary colours.
Man I can't wait until the summer holidays, going to college in September = great excuse for going on a huge shopping spree!

I'm all for Topshop (even if they are a bit size-ist LOL), New Look, Primark and H&M.

I got this pink t-shirt with a cravat looking thingy on the front from Primark and it was only £4 :redd:

Actually I've ran out of clean clothes so I need to shopping in the next half hour F*CK.

Well there's only about 30 stores nationwide, fairly few and far between I guess, like towns in my county.
I only go to Topshop if there is an epic sale on, it's too expensive otherwise! Thumbs up to Primark and H&M. Once I bought a t-shirt in Primark for 10p :D. I also bought the most gorgeous short prom-style dress in Bay Trading for £30! Total bargain, I will wear it on my 16th birthday. It's silky and turquoise-blue in colour but has a black ribbon and bow across the middle, it's GORGEOUS.
