Some tips (by now you've probably figured it out):
-magnify glass to cut to the right milisecond!
-fade in/fade out is good but use it sparingly.
-change sample rate to cut down on the file size (preview to see if it's ok, sometimes it sounds really weird so you may want to cut down the length of the ringtone instead)
I'm definitely not using all of its functions. You can probably do some interesting remix/loop/medley with it. Do share your results!
