I'm translating it using a flash decompiler and Croik/JapaneseGirl's translation. It's not done. But unlike when I tried to do the Apollo Justice one, IT WILL BE. Maybe. I'll keep you guys posted for any updates.

Yeah, I noticed while playing that only the intro is translated.... Oh well, I'll wait as long as it takes!
(Yes, I know someone already put a translation up, and I already played it using that. But I want to try it out this way too!)

Edit: Will the interface be translated too?

What to write? You just click the link in the first post and you will be taken to the translated demo. There is no need for writing anything. However, only the intro is translated so there is not much you can do at the moment.

alright guys, I'm getting to the point where I could use some help. Basically, I know NO japanese, so as the case gets less and less linear, I can't figure out which lines mean which. I could use some help - if someone could make a "key" of sorts showing which lines from the official demo correspond to which lines from the translation, that'd expedite the process of translating this by a really huge amount. Croik helped me with this (see below). Thanks, Croik!

I'd also like some help translating the graphics and such. I'll upload all the graphics I need translated in a bit.
All the graphics I need translated are in these folders: http://www.henriwatson.com/sites/zach/w ... translate/
If you translate any graphics, please keep them at the exact same pixel resolution. Post them here when you finish. Any little tiny bit is appreciated.

Will the direct Japanese/English translation script include translations of those graphics too? They seem to be Evidence, Witnesses/Suspects, and Logic Mode information. If so, I might be able to help you.

B12Core has a lot of the UI translated, you might want to ask him.

And I might be able to do a few of the other graphics, if I had the english translation...

EDIT: Just realized none of the UI is on there :godot:

Some of the graphics are the same as normal, though, as far as I can see...

You might need Edgey's "I've Got it!" Voice, too. I might try making that bubble now, thinking about it. Can anyone think of something more concise than "I've got it!"?

I remember reading that a close equivalent to his Japanese phrase is "That's It." It's short, concise, and fits with the other Ace Attorney shoutings.

"Aha!" Could work as well.

I could try helping with various graphics. :)

I love the translation so far. Good job!

EDIT:

I have the graphics, but when I post them on to CR they lose their crisp-ness for some reason?

I have to agree, "That's It!" Seems better.

By the way, how in the WORLD did you make those anyways? Did you make the sprites by hand?

Most of the letters you can rip from the other sayings (in English or the other localized languages). Once you cut them and paste them together, then you can fill in the gaps yourself. That's how I did it once when I made a custom phrase.

At first I put together the whole letters, until I realized that it was easier to just put together the light red bits, add a one pixel dark red border, duplicate the layer, move the bottom one slightly down and to the left and fill it with the dark red colour.

I'm going to have to take a quick break from this for a little while, unfortunately. Some things in my life that I'd rather not discuss have come up to interrupt my work, and I can't just leave them. Keep working on the graphics, I'll be back in a few days. =)
