Well, people have a point. 2-1 was probably the hardest of all the "tutorial" cases, imo. I love 2-3, but the bit with Moe had me want to chuck my DS across the room a few times, so I ended up using GameFaqs to prevent any console damage ^^''. But overall, I would say 1-5. Even when I replayed the game it took me a while to get that one. The first two trials were alright, but...

Spoiler:
Proving the Gant had Lana in for blackmail always caught me off. Not to mention the Gant Stare and the massive pause that accompanied had me ALSO want to throw my DS.

2-1 is hell. Especially for non americans, as it needs knowledge of baseball. I spent hours on the glove, as I thought you wore it on your strong hand :godot:

Though, 1-5 is the hardest case.

In 2-1 I got stuck on the first cross examination when he spelt Maggie wrong. Took me about 30 min

Hmmmm 1-3 was annoying as hell they only really needed 2 trials not 3. I think 1-5 was pretty hard especially on the fist trial. the second trial was easy and the third trial was pretty hard to, but overall the detective work was soooooo hard!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the hardest was Case ever was............. 4-3 because AJ was my first game and there were a few points that you needed experience to realize.

But I have to admit, at the near end of 1-5 was tough, I was hanging on 2 !! and luckily saved before Gant's...erm, erm.

I just replayed 1-5 last night, and it is tougher than I thought, this is my third time, and I still get caught off trying to solve through Angel's testimony at the start, and the parts near the end. D:''. And yeah, now that I think about it, I never would have gotten anywhere in 2-1 if I hadn't played Softball for a couple of years. My sister found it incredibly hard. I stick by what I said earlier, 2-1 is definitely the hardest "Payne" case.

Lol, the Blue Badger dancing all over that video pissed me off real bad , that's true, but that was probably the easiest part in that case for me. Although, I do agree with you on the light thing. I kept pointing at the cloth sticking out of the locker >_>.

Although 1-5 definitely is hard, and is my favourite case, I think that JFA has the hardest cases. There were a few times were I had to resort to guesswork, espescially 2-2 at the point where you have to present maya's costume in the first day of the trial. Also, acro's testimony in 2-3 was very difficult as was the investigation, which had me running around like a headless chicken. My Hardest for each game are:
1-5 :lana:
2-3 :cards: (My first guilty verdict)
3-4 :onamida:
4-(I can't decide so I'll get back to you when I have played it through again)

Let me help you, from the 4th game, it's definitely Daryan, unless you count perceiving, because in that case, it's Brushel.

This is my opinion.

Brushel is definitely hard, but I still don't know if that makes 4-4 the hardest case.

In 4-4 the trials were fairly easy. They psyche locks, however, took me ages to figure out, since there were so many characters with locks at the same time and I didn't know what order should I unlock them.

3-4 gets my damn vote. The case was confusing from the start and Diego kinds of distracting me. To be honest, I find 3-4 as the only hard case. I dunno it may be because it was the first time I used GameFaqs. I had no problem with the other cases but I used the save and reset strategy always. From watching and reading so much mystery stories, I guess I got um....better in PW? :gant:

And not to sound as some smug bastard but I find 1-5 easy IMO. All things went well. Also, the part where the "HP" or life gets reset each chapter was a contributing factor for that being easy.

i think it,s the bridge to turnabout....really it's the only episode that i couldn't reveal the real culprit until later near the end.........i almost can't continued when i heard that maya was died..i lost hope and enthusiasm and recovered back is quite difficult...but i really never imagine that godot is the killer, but i know he is not a culprit, he doesn't have a very clear motive at all..."The OMG that's it!!" part that rush my heartbeat was when i realized that larry's painting is upside down...great epic episode, and another great ending ( i believe it's a bit sad for the Feys that had been suffered all this time, hope nothing will happen again to the last generations :maya: :pearl: and iris...) if anything happended again i would protest against capcom

Spoiler: Look inside to see the ones I had difficulty with
Hardest cases in order of my opinion
1. Rise From The Ashes: I played this without a walkthrough so I had a really difficult time with it. Plus it was really hard with a walkthrough
2. The Lost Turnabout: JFA was the first game I played so... yeah...
3. Bridge To The Turnabout: This was difficult even with a walkthrough. But it wasn't as bad as Rise From The Ashes
4. Farewell, My Turnabout: The trial wasn't hard but the difficulty of the psyche-locks scared me
5. Turnabout Big Top: Had some trouble with some of the testimonies.
