LOL, sometimes I feel the same way when I'm playing the games. XD

In court: Man, this is taking forever, I can't wait to investigate again.

In conclusion: Neither of you actually like Ace Attorney.

Just a bit. Having absolutely no trials disappoints me, since they're my favorite part. It's also a big step for this series, considering that this will be the first one that doesn't have any trials. But I can appreciate a point-and-click. I've really no high standards

Personally, I was pretty firmly pessimistic about the game when i first heard about it because:

a.) it sounded like it was pandering to the fanbase by going back to the old cast and having fan favorite Edgeworth as the main character didn't blunt that. Don't get me wrong, I like Edgey, but he is probably the character with the biggest fan following, and having him as the protagonist just turned on my cynicism automatically.

and...

b.) The absence of the court scenes, which I felt were always the bread and butter of the AA games, felt like a huge way to cripple the gameplay, turn off fans of the series who weren't playing it just for Edgey and make it take a trip to shitty town.

However, after playing the demo...



I guess what I'm saying is that the demo is what it took for me to actually be cautiously optimistic instead of automatically expecting it to be terrible.

I've been looking forward to this game since I heard about it, even though I know that there aren't any courtroom scenes. I like the character designs, the music, the new gameplay and ... uh, Gumshoe. XD

I think this can be really good game. I really wanted to see some court-room scenes from the proscecutors side but i can understand why there isnt going to be any to. Because when you playing GS as an defence attorney you have to cross examination the witness. BUt as a proscecutor you just have to sit down and listen to witness and i think that can be boring after a while. Sure it would be pretty awesome to try to explain the Defense attorneys claims but in the length I think court-room scenes in GK will be to boring.
