1:Unless the girl is a nerd, don't say anything nerdy.
2:Let the girl do 99% of the talking.
3:While it may contradict this topic, just don't get involved. All the girls I have ever liked, friendly or crush, all end up being complete sociopaths, idiots, psycopaths, and 3rd derivitives all rolled up into one in the end.
4:Get this moved to the Wright and Co. Law Offices.

I can't believe no-one ever says this.

Just be yourself!

If she's right for you, you won't need to impress her, right?
Good luck anyways!

I'd have to say, be willing to listen. There's a big difference between hearing and listening, so when you're talking make sure you're talking about what she was talking about when she's done talking. ...If that makes sense.

Also, like D-Berry said, if you have to be somebody else around her, it just isn't woth it.

Uh... Don't call her "kitten"?

Seriously though, just be yourself and be willing to listen to whatever she says. You don't need to pull off any stunts to impress her just so she'll like you back. Stuff doesn't always work that way. :/

Stalk her on MySpace.

but seriously, don't let fear of rejection stop you from doing what will make you happy. Even if she doesn't respond like you'd hope, at least you can say that you were willing to try instead of letting fear dominate your life.

Nothing personal but That would probably be because you understand the background of begin called "Kitten". Chances are that she wouldn't get it and if AZ tried to to explain it, she would consider him a nerd and probably reject him.

This is going to sound odd coming from a very shy person (XP) but just generally be nice, ask short questions to get to know her (eg- you seen that movie? Heard that song?).

I always like it when a guy opens a door for me.
It leaves a lasting memory of how nice that man was :D

Oh, my. Poor guy. :udgy:
It helps if you're actually DATING the woman, you know? 'Cuz then she can't sic her boyfriend onto you, lol.

Judging by how often you talk about it, you must really regret it. I feel totally terrible and, like I said before, I know whatcha goin' through. You'll be OK, Orcy. :/

I'd try building on friendship first, then you can get to know her. I'd known my bf for over a year before we fell for each other.

I'm a girl and I'm in school so I'll give you some pointers as to what to do and what not to do.
Aproaching:
1) Sit by her (the scariest one to achieve, but most effective)
2) When you end up in a que or room together make sure to look at her, but not loads. This informs her you're going to come over. Then eventually go over.
3) Try to be partnered up in class.

Talking:
1) Don't lie about anything! Girls are very quick to catch on to lies.
2) Don't scare her by talking too much, let her say stuff back.
3) If she seems bored don't go quiet, but do change the subject.
4) Be yourself, but hold the bad things back (we all have them and first impressions matter quite a bit)

Asking out:
1) Be patient and try to make her more comfortable around you first.
2) Don't hessitate when you do ask. Seem confident and sure that you want to.
3) Expect rejection.

If Rejected:
1) Try to push past the depression. My friend was only depressed for one day after rejection.
2) See it for how small a matter it really is, don't blow it out of proportion!

Good luck :)

ask her about herself. Girls like to talk, in my experience, and her talking prevents you from saying something stupid. Comment on things she says, like "hey, that's cool" or "I do that too!"

be friends with her, and especially her friends. I can't count how many times I've seen relationships ruined because a girl's friend said she didn't like a guy.

It was only meant to be a joke... -.-;

But yeah, I DO regret it. The fact that I've seen said girl again after that incident makes it worse, hmm. I mean, I don't even know her NAME. :/

...

On-topic: Yeah, like the others said, be friends with her first. If she doesn't like what you're into, and wants you to like things that she likes, then I'd say it's best if you find someone else. As stated in my previous post, you don't have to do anything that's out of your league just to impress her. Be yourself, dude.

The best way to get thsi girl is to be crafty in yoru approach. Start with hi and a few casual inputs, while generally keeping your distance. Slowly (weeks) move up to actually talking to her. Nothing too serious, and make sure you come off casual and be sure you can have friends close by that you can dodge away to after a few sentences. Eventually, she will come to you.

If there were ever a more socially inept group of people to ask for help than here, they'd probably all be pokefurs.

Because he can, D-Berry...because he can.

In any case, back on topic...this is not my area of expertise, but I can say this much: Just be yourself, and then you'll know if you have a keepr, or if this girl is definetely not worth your time.

...what? I told you, this is not my area of expertise.

I just like people who act like themselves instead of trying to impress me. But really it all depends on what this girl is like. I'd say just be cool, get to know her a bit more, crack a few jokes (not the cheesy knock knock ones or crap like that) and just enjoy time with her ^_^

Tell her you'll never give her up, let her down, never gonna run around, or desert her. Also, you'll never make her cry, or tell a lie to hurt her.

Seems like it could work.
