First, scans from the latest Famitsu have surfaced. If you're lucky enough to have a Japanese Wii, then you're lucky enough to try out Gyakuten Kenji on your Wii or DS via the Nintendo Channel or the DS Station respectively.

HOME> Games> The Trial Version of "Gyakuten Kenji" (Turnabout Prosecutor/Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations) is being delivered by "DS Station" and "Everybody NINTENDOCHANNERU" (the Japanese "Nintendo Channel") since 2009/5/7 (May 7)
● The "Nintendo Channel" offers it to the public
"Gyakuten Kenji" (Turnabout Prosecutor/Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations) will arrive on May 28, 2009 for the Nintendo DS, but the trial version of the game, is available for download from the "DS Station" and the Wii "Nintendo Channel".
The "Gyakuten Kenji" Trial Version is also availabe as a (Flash) WEB game, thanks to the "DS Statio"'s "Touch! Try! DS". Also, since May 7, 2009, I was able to download and play the demo of the first episode, "Turnabout Visitor", in my DS. By manipulating Mitsurugi (Edgeworth), you must find bits of evidence in the crime scene, you can experience the basics of the game and confront a suspicious character.

In addition to the Trial Version, the "Nintendo Channel" shows a TV spot featuring Japanese actor Shota Matsuda, and we have images of it. You can watch the making-of this video.
(Images) ▲ It seems Shota Matsuda learned how to reproduce a finger-point from prosecutor Mitsurugi (Edgeworth)!
The article doesn't appear to have any new info about Kenji in particular, but I'd be thrilled to play the game on the DS like it was meant to. Though according to JapaneseGirl, the May 15th Famitisu might show us something new.
As for Ace Attorney Investigations. Capcom's stated that the title won't be making an appearance at E3 this year.
Quote:
Unfortunately, new Ace Attorney game won't be English enough for E3. We'll be blowing it out at Comic-con with the producer, tho
According to ComicCon's website, the convention is from July 23-26th in San Diego, with the preview date on the 22nd. So, if you're going to attend ComicCon, all I can say is that I'm very envious of you, and play nice with the Producer.
The next item is a little older, but it totally slipped past my radar, if you were to visit the Kenji Website you'll see a mini Flash... thing. Edgeworth and Gumshoe just seem to wander around the office talking about... stuff. If you understand Japanese you'll get more out of it then I do.
And finally, if you've got some time on your hands, why not try your hands at a little cross word puzzle. Strangely enough, my extended family loves crosswords, but I don't have any real skill at them. Maybe a crossword'll make your day.
EDIT: Thanks to JapaneseGirl, we've got some videos of the trial versions in action.
Well, at least they're being nice about it this year and not making me THINK any new Ace Attorney reveals are happening at E3, so I don't have to pray for rain or something.
The demo is partially stripped-down: not only does it end early but a few tunes are removed and replaced with ones used elsewhere. They did something similar with the GS4 demo where the objection music was cropped to a looping version of the intro, without the main melody.
Hi! I've largely stepped back from C-R due to life stuff. Please contact one of the other staff members for help!
