I thought I remembered you saying that once, but I forgot where and thought I might have just been imagining it.

People dislike France? Please. They just like to give the country a hard time over their quick defeat in World War II.

Real fights are kinda hard to do in a sprite comic... So I had to stick to verbal bickering.

Anyone got any connections in Japan? We could arrange an anime fight. XD

...I have a theory.

The bartender claims he was needled, but at the same time, we have a glass with water and sleeping powder with only the bartender's prints on it. Nobody else could have touched it, as either their fingerprints would be on it, or the bartender's prints would have been wiped off.

Obviously, only one of these methods could have knocked him out. My money's riding on the syringe.

So, what's my theory? After Francis and the russian chick got into a fight, Francis went out cold. The bartender slipped the water into Francis's mouth to prolong his state of unconsciousness to buy him some time to re-arrange the scene.

I can't say if the bartender is the murderer or not...at best I think he's an accomplice.

...How far off the track am I?

How is that? You two would work beautifully together.

Greeny's graphics are much, much more professionally done than Lindle's. No offense to Lind as he does rather well with those, but the difference in quality between them is pretty good. It's also a mite early to say since we only really know the details about KG:AA's first case, but overall I think Greeny's murder methods are winning so far, even though the first cases used rather similar ideas [Why didn't you call copyright infringement on that, Greeny?]

However, the creator of Hypnogant has done a much better job fleshing out the plot of his cases. Again, this is only going off of KG's first case, but it was well over fourty pages compared to FE:AC's 19 for Case 1. We'll have to see where he goes with case 2, it's a mite early to say. But I think it could be in the 60-80 page range.

As well, so far I'm preferring Lind's OC's as well. Kafuka gets points for originality but I think she's annoying as hell, so all Greeny has to counter is Francis and Tsuki. Tsuki's drastic character change in a total of two comics kinda bugged me but I like her outside of that, and Francis is growing on me as well. On the other hand, I liked Cale's background, because basically everything about him screams "GUILTY!" when in reality he's just a weirdo with horrid luck. It's nice to have a competent detective around so I welcome Simon, and so far I'm liking Punk Apollo too, if he counts as an OC. He also has a prosecutor and a bunch of other guys lined up for us, so again, we'll have to see where he goes with that before declaring absolute judgment.

In reality, you two would be the perfect pair and I do mean that. You're practically created to cover up the shortcomings of the other. If I had a paypal account set up I'd fund for a collaboration :/

It's simple, really! One of the side effects Black mentioned was "short-term amnesia", and if that's the case, then the bartender shouldn't remember what happened, especially in so much detail!

(No traces on Francis' cup, right?) That's a little suspicious...... Isn't it? The bartender could have seen the cup, and cleaned it up. (Except for his and the victim's of course.)

BBdoubleB: Bah, that's true, but with the nausea, dizzyness, loss of orientation, and others, I figured maybe he wouldn't have remembered everything in such detail as he did, on top of the amnesia...

Twister: True. And did the bartender ever mention drinking at the time? I mean, did he ever say that HE was drinking something before he fell unconscious?

Not just any amnesia, but anterograde amnesia, amnesia in which the patient is unable to remember what happens after the amnesia inducing event, not before. That being the case, the witness could have easily remembered the night of the murder, but might have trouble remembering anything that happened after he fainted.

Wow... that was lengthy.

Anyway, regarding the graphics, i'm pretty sure that Greeny uses rips from other games for his backgrounds. Although when he does original backgrounds/graphics, I agree he's much better at it than I am.

I'm surprised that you would actually consider the murder methods a factor, I hadn't even considered that one. Although if that's important, the murder method i'm plotting for case 4 looks very interesting, but very, very likely to change.

Anyway, my first case didn't have 40+ comics, it had 31. Although still an improvement.

Now when it comes to the OCs, this was really the only thing I faulted Greeny's comic on. As such, I made a concious effort not to rely on old and familiar faces. I'm certainly pleased you praised my OC-ing. :edgy:
Regarding Simon, I didn't necassarily intend to make a competent detective, just one who was different to the others.

Also, I don't really consider Kafuka Fuura an OC because she's from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

All in all, I don't really know how Greeny would actually feel about a joint project. I said what I said jokingly, because at the time he had been joking about being my Arch-Nemesis. But really, i'm not sure I would work well with a collaboration. I have this tendency of working independantly or not at all, and not listening to others' concepts.

I'll give it some thought if Greeny likes the idea, but I doubt he will.

well...you both could always try a pilot-comic
(like what they do with a tv show to see if it will get any ratings...only a comic)

you wouldnt have to stop your own comics (maybe abit of a delay) but if its well liked you can roll with it...unless you end up not liking working with one another...

but anyways if you decide to Ill help out...if you want that is :phoenix:

Well I wouldn't mind giving it a try...

But I'm still going to focus on FE whatever happens. I mean, this case is seriously epic. Just watch. And then there's case 4. Though my estimate of about 150 pages for this case has got me worried.

Perhaps, not a lie.

Recall my theory, he actually got syringed in the neck, and nowhere in his testimony did he mention drinking any water, much less spiked water.
