Eh, for me I think it has to be Mario Bros. and....Street fighter. (The old one, but I'm sure the legend of Chun-li blew oh and let's not forget Dragonball.)
Yep, I think Street fighter was the worst movie they could have made. I mean really, it was probably cool when you were younger, but when you got older you're like...

Imo it was a good action movie but not a good hitman movie. Shooting everyone with two smg's isnt 47's style.

The World was introduced to the MK Games in 1994.
MK:A came out in 2000 unless I'm mistaken.
MK v. DC Universe should never have happened.
Apparently, I'm the only one dissatisfied with both Tomb Raider movies. The only things they got right were the actress and the title of the movie. In both cases, she was working with a team. In all the games she works solo to prevent the crap that happened in both movies.
Game Informer touched on this very subject a few years ago and again last year: WHY do movie companies make such shitty adaptations of the games we love?
-The world has been waiting 11 years for "Metal Gear Solid: The Movie". Now I'd say we should all be thankful no one has proven themselves worthy to do it in Hideo Kojima's eyes. He'd be the perfect guy for it (making the movie) even though he's said he'd let someone he has faith in do it.
-The only Pokemon Movie to have made six-figures in Movie theaters was the first and that was only because kids wanted the promo cards. Ditto for the 2nd (speaking of which, the Ancient Mew card was said to have been put on Ebay for $2500). I am a hardcore Mewtwo fan so my opinion of the first movie in general is biased. One of the characters said something controversial in the 2nd movie alot of fans found offensive. The third movie was the last one shown in Amercan Theaters. Of the movies released since then, I'd say two of them at the most--Lucario and the Mystery of Mew and The Rise of Darkrai. Lucario is something of a "posterchild" and in the Legendary Pokemon would've fit well with the release of Diamond and Pearl.

The Warriors was an AMAZING movie, and it was out 20 years before the game.
The Bloodrayne movie was terrible, another Uwe Boll 'classic'. Oh and his Postal movie looks absolute bulldockey.
Hmm... What else... There are those fighting-game movies wich are all above.
The current Pokémon anime and movies are a waste of time.
Then there's the MOVIE based games, some bad, some good.

controversial? *remembers watching the second movie and not seeing anything that could be offensive* then again, I was 6, so...
I'm not sure if the Final Fantasy: Spirits Within movie would count, but... well, it's not that the movie was horrible or anything, but the fact that they pasted "Final Fantasy" on there made it a complete letdown when I watched it :[

Even catapulting a goblin set on fire into a tree didn't save the movie. I mean stupid shit like this works for Punisher : War Zone because the only good Punisher movie will be written by Garth Ennis, star Ma Gnucci and various other things like that, but this? No.
