I would doubt it for now. Those Game Stop release dates aren't always accurate and are subject to change.

Wasn't the European release date sooner than that? US releases are typically before EU releases.

Don't believe these release dates guesses. IGN are claiming that it will be released in the UK on 28 May 2009. :P

Also, we better not get a retarded pre-order gift like the dumb Phoenix plush again!
That was terrible

Don't diss the plush!!! He pokes people in the eye with his plush hand of Objectionification when people go against him! Actually, he's been lying on a small table for a long time collecting dust.

They should make the pre-order bonus awesome. Who wouldn't want their very own cravat?

This website say the release date for US is December 30, 2009.

Hardcore Ace Attorney fans probably knew Capcom was planning a new installment for DS, but there's a bigger suprise at hand: Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is coming much sooner than you think. As in, you won't have to wait a year for an English-language version; it's coming in Q4 of this year.

...I'm glad to see that the series has become popular enough in the West that Capcom has invested in simultaneous localization so that the delay is only a few months rather than a year.

Is this true? :yogi:

At least you Americans got something. The Europeans get bugger all and have to pay more for the game while waiting longer for the release. :chinami:

Although most UK/Australians who like the Phoenix Wright series will import this from the US. :)

Color me suspicious about the the Winter '09. AAI 'is' showing up at E3, that much is true. But with a release date of 'this winter'; an optimist generally assumes that it means it's '09, when reality says that winter extends well into '10.

Until I hear it from the horse's mouth, I'm going to be pessimistic and assume it's Q1 2010. Historically, Capcom USA has favored that time for the previous games, it's great in that it's after the holiday season and gives smaller games some focus.

=D Not that I'm saying I'd rather AAI come later, but November seems crowed, no?

Doesn't "Winter" generally mean Q4?

There really is no point on speculating on a release date that's none existant officially. I didn't hear Capcom say anything about it, so I'm being neutral and just let it flow.

That's the ambiguity of it. I'm certain that if they meant Q4 they would've said 'Holiday Season' instead of 'this Winter'. By saying 'this winter' and not giving a year makes me think that via careful word smithing they tell us both what we want to hear "It's coming it's coming! I hope I can get it for Christmas", and what they're really saying "Febuary is still technically 'this winter'".

According to Capcom's Press site, AAI will be at E3. The playable demo on the other hand, as you say won't be until ComicCon.

I also never knew they allowed VERY early pre-orders. Anywho, that's an estimate date, so I doubt it will take THAT much time for AAI to be released.
