Machop stretched its arms, flexed its muscles, and took a side by Ivan preferring to walk alongside than stay in his Pokeball. "Good idea, Machop. Get some exercise in for out upcoming fight with Roark".

Time passed and the early-morning sun soon turned into a warm mid-morning heat. Ivan recalled Machop to his Pokeball. They walked for hours and the terrrain became progressively rockier and dustier. "We must be close to Oreburgh. Check out how rough this terrain is", Ivan stated, pointing to a jagged ridge across the way. "You can also see coal pipes transferring raw materials to combustion plants."

"Sorry," Canace had muttered, under her breath. "I just... don't like it when people don't think I can handle anything because I'm a girl."
She had been silent for the majority of their walk, but when Ivan pointed out the terrain change, she seemed to brighten.
"Hm, you're right," she nodded thoughtfully. "We are getting close. Do you think you'll be able to defeat Roark?"

He wondered about Canace. She specialized in Fire types; not the best match-up against Rock-types. Suddenly he had an idea. "I have an idea, Canace. Why don't we challenge Roark to a double battle? I'll be straight out; I don't think you'll defeat Roark if you're using only Fire types. But, if you team up with me we can combine our strength and mop the floor with him! What do you think?"

I won't have the time to catch any new Pokémon before we get there, and I've heard that Fire types aren't exactly the strongest against Roark's types. I'd be glad to team up with you." She beamed, extending her hand. "Whaddya say we shake on it?"

Soon, they approached a ridge. Reaching the top, Ivan took a long, wide view of Oreburgh City below him. "Here we are! Oreburgh City, the Mining Town." The sun was high and hot; the lack of outside shelter and heat emitting from the rocks was more than Ivan preferred to handle. "Let's find a place to eat and rest up before taking on Roark."
((Let's skip the plan to kill time at the museum. That was a temporary story plot to add some dimension but I don't think it's necessary anymore.))

Talaia walked over the Oreburgh city limits with Manene following behind her. Someone told her that the Gym leader was in the mines, so she went looking for him. As she was walking along, she tripped on a rock and fell on her face, and Manene tripped on a fake rock and fell on her.
"oww...." she said rubbing her nose, Manene copied her.
"Hey, are you okay?" some one asked.
"Yeah." she replied, getting up. "I'm-" she caught a glimpse of the person and blushed. (It's Roark.) "F-Fine"
"Mime...." Manene copied.

There was and awkward silence between Roark and Talaia where they both stared at each other, blushing.
"Mime? (Laia?)" Manene asked.
"W-Well...." Roark said, diverting his eyes, "I'm glad you're okay..... Just be careful, Alright?"
"Alright...." Talaia said
"Mime Mime..." Manene copied. There was another awkward silence. "Mime Mime mime! (Say something!)" Manene yelled.
"I-I guess I'll see you around..." Roark said, Turning to leave. When he was out of earshot, Talaia Squealed.
"EEEE! He was sooooo cute!" She cried, with manene copying shortly after.

Talaia walked into the gym and looked at it carefully. "Okay..." she said, thinking out loud, "I can go straight and fight every trainer in here...... OR or around and only fight one...." She contemplated the two decisions, then went the long way. When she got to the top, the gym leader was sitting on the ground, looking at a fossil magazine. "Alright, Mr. Gym leader! I'm ready for a battle!!" When the gym leader looked up, they both had the same expression on their face (This: D:)
"It's you! From the mine!" the both exclaimed at once.
"I didn't know you were a gym leader!" She said, "That's so cool!"
"Yeah, well......" Roark replied, blushing.
"Well, That means we have to battle!!" Talaia said.
"Under one condition!"
"What would that be?"
"If I win...." he said, "I get to take you out on a date!!"

"I'm Roark." He replied, holding out his hand.
"Nice to meet you," She said, shaking his hand, "I'm Talaia. Now that we're aquaintted, let's get this battle started!"

Talaia held her newly one badge in the air. "Yay! I have my Coal Badge!" she exclaimed. Roark looked dishearted.
I can't belive I lost.... he thought.
"Hey Roark." Talaia said, "Even though you lost, you can still take me out on that date." With that, Roark immediately perked up.
"Yay!" He said. He grabbed Talaia's hand and dragged her out of the gym. "Let's go!"

"Well, we're not going to go anywhere if we just stand here all day." she said. Roark nodded and they went inside.
After healing thier pokemon, they went to a small resteraunt for lunch.

The Pokémon pokes Anthony by using its tail.
Anthony opens his eyes and upclose was a Baby Dragon Dratini. Its so cute..... He hought and then sees Pachirisu poking the Dratini with its tail. Seems like Pachirisu made a new friend.
Anthony picks up the Dratini and lets Pachirisu jump onto Anthony's head and then Pachirisu goes onto his shoulder. "We should find a water for the Dratini." He takes out a Pokéball. "For now, Dratini you will have to be inside the Pokéball until we find you a place for you to swim at." Before he could touch Dratini with the ball, Dratini lets itself inside the ball. What was a Dratini doing in the sky, it cannot fly unless somebody accidently dropped it and by the way the eyes were it was scared before it got dropped. Somebody must had did something to this poor Dratini. He leaves Oreburgh City and goes back to the cave and goes to Jubilive City.

During their lunch, Roark and Talaia talked about themselves to get to know each other better. While Talaia talked, Roark kept thinking how beautiful she was. "Hey Talaia," he said, "Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah sure."
"Talaia...." he said, blushing, "Will you be my girlfriend?" Talaia blushed herself and giggled. When she nodded, he helt relived. They spent the next five minutestrying to find something to say.
"I-I know it's not real exciting.... but if you want, we can go to the mining museum." Roark said, "They have some really neat fossils..."
"That sounds like fun!" Talaia said. They both stood up. She tried to pay for the meal, but he beat her to it. Once the bill was paid, Talaia took Roark's hand and his face turned almost the color of blood. (like this:
) They both walked out and went to the museum.((It's funny 'cause Talaia is the one that takes the upperhand X3))

"We must find out where Evolution start or how it even came to be." One of them said.
"Ye-" He stopped. "YOU!" the other said spotted Anthony.
"Oh great.... What? You want something from me? You are in ym way anyways so get out of my way." Anthony said as he walks towards them and then pass them.

"Air patrol to surface patrol. The Dartini is missing." One of the Team Galatic grunt of Air patrol.
"WHAT?! Oh man Cyrus is gonna be ferious." They both said.
"Dratini come on out." Anthony said as Dratini comes out.
Dratini becomes scared.
"Dratini face them and use Twister." He said.
Dratini uses Twister on Team Galatic grunst as they make conatct with Air Patrol that was in a Hot Air Balloon but now are nowhere to be found. ((They were blasting off for the first time.))
"Dratini, Return." He said asnd he sees a PokéDex on the ground. "What kind of Trianer would just LOSE his PokéDex." He said enraged he walks away to continue his way to the next town.

They walked to the Pokémon center. While Bastoise was being healed Sonny asked some question to nurse Joy.
Sonny: What can you do here in Jubilive?
Joy: There is alot of things you can do here. This is one of the biggest City in Sinnoh. You have the tv-station and the Pokétch company oh and it seems like your Blastoise is ready. She said and took Blastoises pokéball from the machine and put it on the counter.
Sonny: Thanks for the info. Sonny said and took Blastoises Pokéboll and let him out again before they exit the pokécenter.

"Pachiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" Pachirisu shotued as it sued Spark on Staraptor.
"RAPTOR!" Staraptor shouted as it used Brave Bird on Pachirisu.
"PACHIRISU!" Anthony shotued. "Rocky its your turn! Zubat go get Pachirisu!" He said Rocky came out and so did Zubat and Dratini came out when it was never called and jumped into a lake.
Rocky hodling the crystal began to change into a Crystal Onix.
"Zubat!" Zubat said carrying Pachirisu back to Anthony.
"Rocky, Zubat, And Dratini use Twister on Staraptor now!" Anthony said.
They all used Twister on Staraptor as it falls to the ground kncoked out. "Time for you to be captured. Pokéball Go!" Anthony said as Staraptor gets hit by a Pokéball in its Knocked Out State.
