Dad: KRISTOPH! WATCH YOUR GODDAMNED MOUTH!

Also, Apollo referred to him as Mr. Gavin. HIS APPRENTICESHIP HAS BEGUN.
Or he was just trying to be polite.

It's really contrasting character. Hobo Phoenix isn't exactly like his past 25 year old self, due to experiance in the years followed and events and whatnot. And his IVy Uni version is DEFINATELY differant than Hobo Phoenix for the most part.

You can't really say what Kristoph was like back in his regular days; He could be a closet Soap Opera lover fan or something and we wouldn't even know it. :yogi:

Though, I do agree I never imagined him screaming DAMNED. But again, who knows? :lana:

Eh, the game never touched on the subject on Kristoph when it comes to his father. For all we know he could be totally overprotective when it comes to him.

Kirstoph seems more like the cold, harsh type rather than hotheaded enough to speak with caps.

We're all aware of that. I think even Lindle's aware of that.

But it's as I say, the game never touched on how Kristoph is when it comes to his father. Kristoph even has difficulty addressing him in Lind's comic, so I'm willing to accept that Kristoph acts differently around his father, seeing as how the game doesn't necessarily say he wouldn't.

...Shit, I just realized how messed up I was over the timeline of this comic. Now I totally see the confusion over the 'tried' yet since I wasn't sure if the 4-4 events were before or after....Now I feel really stupid for posting that.

@Latest update: Am I the only one fully expecting something to shatter Kristoph's worship of his dad or something?

It is stated that the comic starts in 2023 (two years before AJ) and the current flashback, which will probably encompass the entire remainder of the comic, is set in 2021.

Again, my (really bad) mistake since I'm not too familiar with the actual dates in the series and a few other things that slipped my mind at the time I posted that stuff, hence the part of me feeling incredible stupid.

Funny, I wasn't clean on the time eiather, but I was too busy wrapped up in the story anyway.
Interesting how Kristoph can sound so evil, yet so clear outside.

Though, you know, if Kristoph had a clear motive for setting so much into that particular case, that definately would have been it. Nice work thar. :hobohodo:

Truthbetold, I never considered Kristoph's motive in AJ to be sufficient. But some envy-induced psychosis... that makes sense.

Also, you have now been introduced to the linearity of this comic. Enjoy it.

IIRC, it begins in 2025 and ends in 2026. Or perhaps it was a fuckup on Capcom's part. Or perhaps i'm just remembering things wrong. Either way, it beganin '25.

Of which comic?

x_Marushi wrote:

Well, the only times he has seemed OOC to anyone are upon three instances: The first happened when faced with the hilarity of Badcock's name. And frankly, I don't care how articulate you are, Badcock is fucking funny.

The second is when faced with the father of whom he worships. And we've never actually seen how Kristoph would act when in the presence of authority.

The third is when talking about his attempted murder... which I don't really consider to be OOC at all, if you think about how he was when he was talking about Zak turning him down over the poker game. (In the game, not in my comic).

Ah, good. I did want to keep it uncertain.
Spoiler:
Although the cafeteria is right out. I'm not sure if I mentioned this in the comic yet, but it doesn't really matter because it's of no consequence: There were a few people in the cafeteria who heard the crash and went out to see what the noise was.
