Well maybe it's because I tried to build a time machine with popsicle sticks and bubblegum...
maybe that's why machi was smuggling coccoons. so he can build a time machine...

Yes! It all works perfectly! Machi didn't manage to smuggle cocoons, but he did get the money some way, then used the time machine to go back in time and give his younger self the time machine. His younger self then used the time machine to get lessons from Beethoven. After he got the lessons, younger Machi went back to the time period he was supposed to be in, then older Machi traveled back to the present. If that makes any sense at all to you.
Or, if you like it the time paradox way, Machi went back in time any taught his younger self how to play piano.

I don't mind the DaryanMachi pairing though it more arose out of me wanting a pairing for him cause I'm a loser like that and seeing too many of that pairing's pictures. I'm not fond of Trucy so...

Apollo and Machi are both "aliens." (Apollo has antennae, Machi's from another country)
They both wear jewelry-ish. (Apollo has his bracelet, Machi wears a pendant/necklace/thing)
They are both children. (Machi's 14, Apollo acts like a little kid <in my opinion>)

They're both "orphans." Maybe Apollo arrived the orphanage without a birth certificate. I always thought he acted childlike.... I personally don't think they're twins, but who knows?

And it's just too hard not to assume a connections between Machi and Apollo.
Aside from the fact that Apollo feels like he has seen him before, Machi also seems to know of Apollo. Lamiroir, after one part of the trial, comments on how Machi was right about him. But how would Machi know anything about Apollo or his defending skills if they had just met? They're also both orphans. And then there the fact that Machi needs a large amount of money for a still unknown reason, and he couldn't just ask Lamiroir for it. You could also consider if odd that an orphan would be playing piano in resturaunts at such a young age, too...
Another thing is Lamiroir herself. I made a thread a while back listing the many suspicious things about her, so you might want to check that out. She is Apollo's mother, as well as Trucy, but was unaware of that. Seven years ago, she somehow wound up alone in a small foreign coutnry, with the Troupe believing her dead. It's possible her father was responsible for this, but it's also possible he had no idea. The truth about her accident, why she left Apollo, what happened to her first husband, and how she wound up where she did are all quite up in the air. I still hold my belief that her accident was no accident.

Machi was pretty darn funny with his foreign speakings, but unfortunately he got stuck in a rather boring case. I liked the characters in 4-3, just not the actual case.
