I use Paint
Hey, i'm Lind_L_Tailor, not Hypnogant. I'm only Hpynogant IF I TALK LIKE THIS. ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOGANT.
Anyway, i'd recommend the use of Paint.net. It's free to download, and is much better at recolouring than paint. In fact, paint doesn't even have a recolour tool. If you're doing backgrounds, it'll help massively, and the same goes for your sprites. It doesn't take long to master, either.

Credit would be necessary, although you can probably make one similar yourself with paint.net.

Backstory
------------
Easily taken advantage of. Micheal needs someone with a little more common sense. Micheal protected the wrong people. He was lied to, usually cheated out of money, and put into bad situations when it could have been avoided. Eventually he was reduced to the clothes on his back during April.
Wet, cold, and hungry Micheal made his way to Wright Anything Agencies. There he asked for any sort of job and became the lackie to Apollo Justice by rule of Phoenix. Phoenix wanted Trucy to attend school and Apollo couldn't deny him that.
Later down the rode the judge bursts into the office demanding for Apollo. Micheal is the only one in the office cleaning and hears the judge out.
There's a case that no one is taking, and that the state must provide a defense attorney.
Micheal explains he has his licensed but he's never done a case. It didn't seem to matter either way to the judge and they go to court together.......(More to come when I post his assistant n_n)
Why dressed like apollo? (accident but it helped me figure out his backstory XD)
(Other reason) - being Apollo's lackie and having very little on his back when he moved in with Apollo and opt to sleep on the sofa. He took one of Apollo's vests and had it altered for himself. While working with Apollo they are known as the red team at times. This is also true if and when Grossburg joins them.

After the above case he gets paid by the state. Which is great. He gives Apollo cash and tosses the altered clothes he allowed him to have. Instead he went out to the mall with him and got his own outfit for the rest of the game series!
