...Isn't it "de Killer"? :yuusaku:

Spoiler:
Anyway, yay! Trial next!

If it is de Killer (=\) then I'm guessing the embasy guy is the client.

That's true. He does know more about Natasha than anybody else and this naturally gives him the most motive, but we'll see where this goes.

Hmm... weird. I expected a new character to come along, who would be the killer.

Really, I think that anyone at present would be quite a weak killer...

I mean, since the investigation phase appears to be over, I assume that no new characters will be introduced.

And I say it because none of the characters who could be killers at this point really seem like particularly great characters. Brandy and the Russian dude really fail to stick out in any way.

No conversation between Miles and Francis? How disappointing.

However, there's one issue that has yet to be dealt with: if Shelly de Killer shot Vitlova, then who's the client?

Sorry to jump in and be nitpicky, but I do love your comic so I mean this in the nicest way possible. XD In the first panel on the bottom row, it says "Court will now reconvene for the trial or Mr. Francis Equitas.

Again sorry!

I love the developments so far. Kudos for bringing Edgey in. :butzthumbs:

Lessee, that's five comics without anything we didn't see coming.

And you were the one getting on Lind's back for slow plot advancement :P

Spoiler: I still think...
It was the Russian Ambassador! Clearly! He didn't want to get his hands dirty and have people suspect him of killing Vitlova, of whom he knew about, so he hired DeKiller!

Yeah, exactly.

And regardless of how slow the plot advances, at least my comic isn't as predictable.

At the least, he's a possible suspect. Assuming the card is there only because de Killer shot Vitlova, the client must have known something about her. Considering the ambassador's unwillingness to provide any information on her, he must know something.

Yeah, when you slap everything together, only one murderer makes sense, unless YARAH wants to drop a bombshell on us.

Spoiler:
Oh yes. Speaking of bombshells and where or where not they may land, may I point out that the holes in the bartender's testimony still haven't been explained properly?

Indeed... and either the bartender was in on it, or is honestly confused and wants there to be justice without having a sense of the situation... if that makes any sense.

And geez, get off his back. It might be predictable, but there was a nice DUNDUNDUNNNN moment no one saw coming. And just because five comics didn't happen to move things along much doesn't mean the ENTIRE chapter's necessarily predictable... :yuusaku:

Because every single thing in the comic just has to be a fucking plot twist. Yeah. And let me tell you this: Your comic can't be called predictable because you still haven't given us any goddamn information yet, smartass.

Anyways... uh... about the actual... comic...

Spoiler: idk if we put spoilers
Well, all we have learnt in this investigation is that perhaps international affairs may have something to do with this and that DeKiller has some relation to this case. I saw some because the card was not with the body but with the clean up... so maybe DeKiller was only asked to help with the preparation and the clean up, not neccesarily the actual murder. Also, I personally think that Francis was given the sleeping powder, which isn't that big of a theory or whatever. But will all this, what we have gotten still doesn't put Francis out of suspicion. Clearly there will need to be some break between trials so that these guys can build a case. About about Edgeworth testifying AGAINST Franziska's case... I can only think she'd be either ecstatic to break apart his testimony, or be absolutely furious with him for joining the defense's team who he barely knows...

Spoiler:
Perhaps, Brandy hired him. Or was in cahoots with him, and moved the body/card to frame Francis.

Ah, I see. I began reading after The Cold Turnabout began. In fact, I believe the first day of trial had just begun.
