Suzuna smiled "Well, a cave of monsters is better than nearly dieing at level one by being killed by another player..." She snickered. "... and of your own stupidity. It would be awesome if you could accompany me!" She said, her eyes widening in awe. "What kind of clan are you going to join?" She asks as she continued to nibble on a piece of bread.

"Hm...I don't know..." Austin replied. He frowned in concentration. He remembered volunteering to be in clans before, but was constantly shot down for various reasons. Some involving vampires that naturally hated him, some that simply had no room, but most of them would shoot him down because he was practically useless when not in his wolf form. At least, that's what they assumed. But...that confrontation with Zoey had only proven them right...He wasn't as useless as they thought, but he definitely would be no match for her had she actually wanted to kill Suzuna and himself. He smiled at her.
"Whichever clan will take me, I guess," he said. Being in the game so long had given him advantages, such as his already high level. And all the money he got from his travels, most of which were payment for his mercenary work. He only did it as a side-job, never doing anything he saw as unethical, but he learned quickly that he needed certain supplies wherever he went. He pulled out his axe to look at it. It was strange how much he had to depend on that thing.

'A group of people..' he was standing quietly, looking dazed at the far sight they had.

Zoey had refused her bread, as vampires don't need, or like, to eat normal food. She was surveying all of the group as she sat cross-legged on the ground, overwhelmed by the sheer number of pulses around her. There was a demon, two angels and the dog. They all seemed to be level ones, or near to it.

The demon's blood is not as good as a human's, but still good. The dog, i'm not even going to consider.

She wrinkled her nose before carrying on her train of thought.

The angels will decrease my own health, though i'm sure that it would be delicious....

Zoey fixed her eyes on Suzuna.

So this one is my target. I must restrain myself.

Zoey hadn't been breathing, but now she took a breath so that she could speak, the scent of all the blood around her hit her, the angels' blood dangerously tempting, the demon's tempting but not as much. She finished the one breath and spoke.

"Yeah. We could make our own clan, couldn't we?" he asked excitedly. He then turned and looked at Zoey. He had thought she'd left. It's never that easy, he thought bitterly. He saw how she looked at everyone, as if considering which ones would make the best meal. And show she looked at Suzuna. He cast her a warning look. He might not be a threat in his human form, but when he's a wolf, they would be evenly matched. He hoped she wouldn't be too tempted.

Zoey met Austin's gaze steadily, wanting to speak but not wanting to risk another breath of the tempting blood surrounding her. She settled to try to convey her feelings through her eyes, though doubtful that the dog could be observant enough.

If I was going to attack them, I would have done by now. Even if I wanted to, you couldn't stop me anyway.

A dangerous glint entered Zoey's eyes.

Austin didn't look away from Zoey, even though he got the point she was trying to convey through her eyes. He knew she was right, but he still kept his eye on her. She would be tempted a lot, and her control could slip at any time. Austin knew...Having traveled with a vampire once before.
"Whatever you say, Zoey," he said steadily. She didn't really say anything at all, and Austin considered rephrasing what he said, but he continued, "And no, I wouldn't be able to stop you in this state. Too bad it's not night time yet. Oh, well..." He turned back to Suzuna.
"I'd hate to break it to you, but human blood is the most tempting thing in the world to a vampire, and in a town like Tepple, I can't guarantee she'd be able to control herself. Maybe it would be best if she waited outside...Not to insult you or anything, Zoey. I'll stay with her if I have to."

"...I doubt it. You can barely control yourself now," Austin said. "The reason I suggested staying with you is because I know I smell bad to you. That's enough to muffle other scents to a certain extent. It'll be nightfall by the time we reach Tepple. I would be able to transform if I had to. And what would you do if you had to speak and breathe in all those scents?" Austin didn't like the idea of staying with her, either, but he had become accustomed to her scent, and he knew he could handle it, even in his wolf state.

He finally had take a seet, watching the conversation. He was looking worried at Zoey.
Austin is right, a vampire is a vampire no matter with who or where.
'Well I hope you can get a hold of yourself then..' Tadao looked serious and calm. Tadao didn't trust her, not for a penny.

'But anyway..' Tadao started.
'I think we could better get some levels higher Suzuna, before going to Tepple'.

Hmmm, ice, that could be intresting..

Two high levels helping Tadao was a great opportunity to level faster than usual.

As the angel spoke, his breath wafted over to Zoey and she suddenly found it unbearable. She shifted forwards unconsciously.

"Spirit, come to me," she whispered painfully, and a wash of hope and good nature flooded her. Breathing deeply, Zoey relaxed.

"Thank you, spirit."

Dismissed, the element left her.

Suzuna sighed and continously nibbled a a piece of bread. She stared into the sky, blankly. She hated to watch people fight, she'd usually try to come up with a solution and it doesn't work as well as she has planned, she's also prone to stating the obvious. Meh, it's her bad habit.

Um...I'm not new. I've been trapped in this game longer than you have. I just started in a different place and haven't really gotten here till now, Austin thought. And I'm at a high level, too. Level 50, I believe it was. Aw, whatever. He smiled at Nina, looking for any excuse to not have to look at Zoey anymore. He resolved not to get too upset with her insults or taunts, though he was finding it hard to. Relax, Austin. She's just another vampire with her prejudices about werewolves. You were the same way when you first met a vampire. You kept taunting him, calling him a bloodsucker and doing things of the like. She's new, just like you were. Don't hold it against her. You know you'd kill her in seconds if you transformed.
"Yes. Altmir cave," Austin replied. "And trust me, Tadao. Her petty insults aren't enough for me to actually fight her."

He wasn't mocking her intentionally, but he noticed the undertone he put in a little too late. Stupid forces of habit. Just keep moving. He walked past her and continued toward the cave.

Tadao runs too Austin, until Tadao walks right besides Austin. 'Yes i've heard from it before i was in the game.' Tadao smiled. After that he picked his beginners guide, with a Map in it of this place. 'Altmir cave... Altmir cave, There it is! It isn't far away at all, just a ten minute walk to the south.'

Saving people from bandits and monsters like ogres, demons, vampires, other werewolves, balverines, goblins, trolls, behemoths...You get the idea." He smiled at Tadao. "Will get you leveled up pretty quickly."
