i just visited the sprite section of ace attorney investigations(AAI) and only watched the sprites of .( i felt a spoilertag was usefull) my pc is strangely being slow.(but it can also be the site since i get the message sometimes today that the sever is down)

i noticed that every sprite is also mirrored? why is that? isn't it (quite) useless? is that also with the sprites of every other AAI character?

can someone please explain all of it?
