Klavier was in his office cleaning his well-polished guitars. When suddenly, a knock was heard b the door.

“Yes?” Klavier called out.

“Gavin.” A voice nodded.

“Ah, Herr, Edgeworth, what can I do for you...?” Klavier glanced up as he put his guitar down.

“We...need to talk…” Miles said.

“About…?” Klavier asked.

“It’s about..uhm..,. I know that…you’re very experienced.. with…with…women..” Edgeworth was turning red.

Klavier raised his brow. He looked slightly smug and amused.

“Yes…and…?” Klavier knew what Edgey was getting to… But he liked teasing him.

“I…need….need…h-help…with…with…uhm….uh…” Edgeworth looked away, hiding his very red face.

“The fraulein with the whip, ja?” Klavier smirked.

“…y-yes…” Miles covered his red face with his hands, pretending to ruffle his hair.

Klavier laughed out loud.

“Herr Edgeworth, you must understand, that I can’t help you. I’m good with women, yes. Bt in giving advice, I regret to tell you that I’m not that good,” Klavier shook his head. “You see, my SKILL with women is a naturally born gift… Therefore I don’t know HOW I do it, ja? I just do it.” Klavier smiled smugly.

Miles was boiling in anger.

“Yes, and I believe humility is something you’re not born with either, Gavin,” Edgey glared. “Well, in that case, I’d like to see you prove it.” Edgeworth smirked.

“Prove it…?” Klavier asked.

“Yes, prove to me that you can make any woman fall in love with you.” Edgeworth smirked.

“Ja. Deal. I won’t say no to an easy challenge. What do I get if I win?” Klavier smiled.

“…the position as chief prosecutor. And if you lose...your salary gets cut by 60% and it’ll be given to me.” Edgeworth smirked.

“Deal.” Klavier said without hesitation.

“Good to see you’re confident, Gavin.” Edgeworth smiled.

“Who’s the lucky girl?” Klavier flipped his hair.

“I’ll pick her out from the girls at the party tonight, for Franziska’s return.” Edgeworth blushed at the mention of her name.

Klavier seemed to notice this and so he laughed.

“Yes, yes.” Klavier said.

“You have to bring her to Franziska’s farewell party 10 days later. Then I’ll judge if she’s ‘madly in love with you’.” Edgeworth smirked.

“The whipping fraulein will leave in 10 days after tomorrow?” Klavier asked.

“Yes,” Edgeworth said, trying to hide his remorse.


Meanwhile, down at the precint.

“Hey, Chief…Could I take the forensics exam again?” Ema pleaded.

”For the thousandth time, NO!” The chief shouted at her.

“But..but…” Ema stammered.

“Okay, look. I’ll give you a little project. If you can do it, then I’ll pass you, okay?” The chief sighed.

A girl from the forensics team nudged the chief.

“What?!” The chief asked.

“Are you insane?! If you’re gonna do that, give her a hard test, why don’t you?! A test with her weakness!” The girl whispered.

“Like what?” The chief whispered back.

“…Men.” The girl giggled.

The chief’s face lightened up.

“Okay Skye. Your project is to investigate on how to lose a guy in 10 days.” The chief smiled smugly.

“…okay, but why 10 days?” Ema had no objection to this, simply because she’d do anything to get into forensics. Losing a guy would be easy. It’s getting one that would kill her.

“1 is too short, and on the 11th is the day we have to pass the forensics resume.” The chief shrugged.

“Okay, so will it be ANY GUY?” Ema asked.

“Pick him out in the welcome back party for Ms. Von Karma tonight. A lot of guys will be there.” The chief chuckled.

“Roger.” Ema sighed.


At the party..

“So I just have to find a guy right?” Ema sighed.

“Yes.” The chief answered.

“Okay… I’m gonna get drinks. Looking at these freaking men are driving me inasne,” Ema massaged her forhead. “I wonder if It could be Mr.Edgeworth? Na I don’t want to dump him.” Ema giggled.


At another end of the hall…

“So…who’s the girl, Herr Edgey?” Klavier looked at all the girls passing him.

“Don’t call me that. How about…her?” Edgeworth said, pointing to a fat woman in a dress.

“Please spare me…” Klavier acknowledged the joke and looked elsewhere.

“Ah, there…her.” Edgeworth pointed to a direction.

“Her who?” Klavier looked at the direction Edgeworth was pointing at.

“Her. Long brown hair, blue dress, cute smile…um…lab coat…” Edgey laughed.

“…the fraulein detective?!” Klavier looked shocked.

“Yes.” Edgeworth smirked. He knew Ema detested Kalvier. Klavier’s sure to lose this one.

“Fine. This will be easy. She has liked me ever since! It’s a deal.” Klavier laughed, walking towards Ema.

“That’s what you think, Gavin…That’s what you think. Now I’m going to have enough money to buy some tea from China…and a gift for Franziska..” Edgeworth smirked as he watched Klavier’s back walking towards Ema.

Klavier was walking to Ema, who had her back turned.

She looked quite frantic. She kept glancing back and forth.

"Fraulein, may I have this dance?" Klavier bowed.

Ema apparently didn't hear him. She still continued to sip at her drink.

"Ehem." Klavier coughed to get her attention.

Ema still wasn't responding.

Klavier was starting to get irritated. He placed his hand on her shoulder and wheeled her around to face him.

"K-klavier!" Ema stammered. She was obviously shocked to see him there.

"How are you doing, fraulein?" Klavier grabbed her hand - yes, grabbed - and kissed it.

"H-HEY!" Ema shouted, pulling her hand back.

Her voice seemed to echo throughout the room, making all the guests turn their attention to both her and Klavier.

Klavier was aware of the fact that the whole room was staring at them. He decided to take the chance.

"May I have this dance?" He said loudly, bowing yet again.

"I-" Ema tried to think of a good excuse.

"I- I can't dance." Ema stammered.

"I'll teach you then, fraulein." Klavier smiled.

The whole room was still staring, as if waiting for what Ema's answer.

"If you say no...This whole crowd will go against you, fraulein." Klavier whispered.

"For a prosecutor, you sure know what you're doing." Ema whispered back.

She was forced to extend her right hand and placed it on top of Klavier's out stretched one.

Klavier pulled her in and they started to dance.

Ema was furious.

She felt like a doll being pulled along, controlled by her 'master'.

When the song was bout to end and they were about to take their one last stride, she used this chance to step on Klavier's foot- HARD.

"Argh!" Klavier clenched his teeth, rubbing his throbbing foot.

"I remember telling you that I couldn't dance, monsieur." Ema said out loud, so that the whole room could hear her. She decided she wanted to play by her rules now, and she wanted to be a little fancy. If HE could be pretend german, then she'll be pretend french! Hah!

Ema curtsied and smiled before she walked away.

Klavier was still shaking his foot to make the throbbing go away when he heard a voice laughing behind him.

"Gavin. Nice SKILL you have there. VERY nice going with the women. Bravo." Edgeworth clapped.

"Shut up Miles Edgeworth before I pound you really hard. This body isn't just for show." Klavier growled.

"Aha, I see you lose the german accent when you're serious?" Miles laughed.

"This isn't over yet, ja? The party's just getting started, baby!" Klavier straightened up really fast and ruffled his blond hair.


In another side of the big party room..

"Chief. That man Ema was dancing with... that prosecutor... Tell Ema that he's her target." a girl laughed.

"Huh? why?" The chief grunted.

"Duh, she obviously despises him! So go on and tell her that it HAS TO BE HIM!" The girl said.

They saw Ema walking toward them, obviously angry.

"Skye. That man... you were dancing with? Prosecutor Gavin. HE'S YOUR TARGET." The chief smirked.

"S-seriously?!" Ema's eyes grew wide.

"I though you said I could choose!!!" Ema argued.

"Well, I'm taking it back." The chief answered back.

"...ARGH! FINE!" Ema stomped her foot and walked away.

"10 DAYS, SKYE! 10 DAYS!" The chief shouted behind her.

Near the snack table at the party...

Ema spotted Klavier looking at the food on the table.

She took a deep breath and approached him.

"Klavier, I'm REALLY sorry for what happened awhile ago. It's just I was so emabarassed, and..and..." Ema pouted and threw him her puppy dog eyes.

"..." Klavier looked speechless. Was it just him, or was the 'fraulein' apologizing...to HIM...THE FRAULEIN... APOLOGIZING?! to HIM?!

"Ah, nein, nein... It's alright, fraulein." Klavier smiled.

"Please, Ema." Ema smiled back, offering to Klavier to call her by her name.

"Ema." Klavier smiled even wider.

Ema just tilted her head to the side.

"Single..?" Klavier asked.

"Duh." Ema giggled.

"Available?" Ema grinned.

"Always." Klavier answered.

"I find that surprising." Ema smiled.

"Interested?" Klavier smirked.

"Hm...maybe." Ema laughed.

"Hungry?" Klavier offered his hand again.

"STARVING." Ema grinned as she took his hand.

"Then let's get out of here." Klavier pulled her to the door.

When they got out, Ema saw a black shiny car in front of her. She was about to walk right to it.

"Nein, this one." Klavier called.

Ema looked to the right and saw a motorcycle. Of course... his hog.

"Just a little more, Ema... just tto make him like you for tonight... only tonight.. you've been doing well... keep it up..." Ema talked to herself. She approached Klavier's hog.

Ema got on his bike.

"Okay. let's go." Klavier said.

His motorcycle went slow at first.

But then he noticed that Ema wasn't holding onto him.

Klavier smirked. He just couldn't resist the old "speed me up" trick.

He sped up.

As he expected, Ema held onto him.

"Are you crazy?! You're going too fast!" Ema shouted.

"If we go too slow we'll get caught in traffic." Klavier smirked.

He sped up even more.

Ema held on even tighter. Klavier can barely breathe. But he didn't care.

Because he liked it.

At a certain french restaurant...

Ema and Klavier were sitting opposite of each other, both eating their food.

"Mr. Gavin, I find it hard to believe that you're still single... despite the fact that you have tons of fan girls chasing after you every day." Ema cautiously looked to her right, where two girls were glaring at her REALLY hard.

"Call me Klavier, please. Well, none of them interest me." Klavier smiled.

"So I caught the all-mighty Klavier Gavin's interest?" Ema tilted her head to the side.

"Nice one, Ema.. keep the flirting going..." Ema thought to herself.

"Well, I can say that you did, Ema." Klavier smiled even wider.

"That's it Klavier, just keep smiling...she's fallen in love with you already!" Klavier thought.

"I'm honored." Ema giggled.

"Well, let's head out, shall we?" Klavier stood up and waited for Ema.

Ema nodded as she grabbed her purse and followed him outside.

"So, where to?" Ema asked.

Klavier put his helmet on and got on his hog.

"You'll see." Klavier smiled.

"Aha, suspense, Mr. Prosecutor? I like it." Ema smirked as she got on the motorbike.

At Klavier's place

"Woah... nice place, Klavier!" Ema was wide-eyed as she walked into Klavier Gavin, rock star extraordinaire's apartment.

"I'm glad you like it. Wine?" Klavier offered.

"Sure." Ema nodded.

Klavier poured her a glass of wine and sat on a chair.

Ema got her glass and sat across him, putting her purse down beside her.

"So. Are you interested, or should I take a hike and leave you alone?" Klavier smirked.

"Well..." Ema stopped.

She thought for awhile.

"This is my chance... no going back now... for forensics!" Ema thought as she inhaled deeply.

She stood up and went near Klavier.

"Ja?" Klavier looked up at her.

She went closer, and kissed him on the cheek.

"Tomorrow. 8pm? Dinner. after work." Ema smiled.

Klavier looked stunned.

"I'll take that as a yes?" Klavier laughed.

"Yes, you can take that as a yes." Ema giggled.

"Well, this must be my lucky day, then. I though you'd slap me when you went near me, fraulein." Klavier smiled.

"Please stop calling me that." Em laughed.

"Ja, Ja. Ema. 8pm?" Klavier smiled.

"Yeah. I'll come at 8pm." Ema smiled.

"I must assume that I'm cooking dinner...?" Klavier smiled.

"Yes." Ema smiled.

"Ja, goodnight, Ema Skye." Klavier smiled.

"Goodnight, Klavier Gavin." Ema walked out of his apartment.

After Ema walked out the door, he peered at the window and saw her walking home. When she was already out of sight, he sat on the same chair he sat on awhile ago.

He noticed a light blue purse on the floor.

Klavier smirked.

Meanwhile, Ema's walking home..

Ema's cell began to buzz so she fished it out of her pocket to answer it.

"Hello?" Ema answered her buzzing cell phone.

"Ema! I heard you left the party with Prosecutor Gavin!" A female voice giggled on the other phone line.

"Maggey? Well... yes, you see..." So Ema explained the chief's 'test' to Maggey Byrde.

"Ah i see... so where are you now?" Maggey asked.

"Walking home from Klavier's place." Ema giggled.

"You seem happy." Maggey teased.

"No, no. It's just...I left my purse there. At his place." Ema continued to giggle.

"Oh no, then you should go back and get it!" Maggey exclaimed.

"Woah Maggey, calm down! I left it on purpose." Ema smirked.

"Why...?" Maggey asked.

"Because...I know he'll open it... and... I have tickets for the biggest basketball game of the season... I KNOW he can't resist...so he'll have to call me." Ema giggled.

"Aha... Ema, I didn't know you were so cunning." maggey laughed.

"Welcome to my world, Maggey." Ema laughed.

The next morning, at the precinct while Ema's working...

"Ema, Can't believe you went and did that!" Maggey laughed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah... I'd do anything to get into forensics, you know." Ema laughed.

there was a knock on the door.

"Ms. Skye, delivery!" A man holding a whole bouquet of sky blue roses entered the room.

The roses were obviously dyed, but nevertheless, They were stunning.

Maggey was wide-eyed, and so was Ema.

But their shock wasn't over.

More men entered the room. with more huge bouquets of sky blue roses.

Ema started to laugh in embarrassment. The hole precinct was staring at her and the gazillion roses.

"Ema there's a card here..." Maggey said as she picked a card up from between the flowers.

"It says... 'To lovely Ema Skye, whose smile is as lovely as these roses.' Awww Ema that's so sweeeeeet!" Maggey's eyes glistened in delight.

Ema's phone on her desk started to ring.

"Hello?" Ema answered.

"Achtung, baby!" The other line said.

Ema laughed.

"I just got a whole bunch of roses with a cheesy pick up line written on a card. I wonder who it's from...?" Ema teased.

"No need to thank me." Klavier laughed from the other line.

"You left you purse here." Klavier said.

"Ahhh yes..." Ema smiled.

"And here were tickets in it. To the next NBA game." Klavier smiled.

"Ah, I'm sorry, I'm goign with Maggey, you see." Ema glanced at Maggey and winked.

"Don't play dumb, fraulein. I know you left this on purpose. I'll pick you up at 8pm to watch the game." Klavier laughed.

"Hm..........." Ema pretended to think.

"Ach, fraulein... I know you set this up, no use denying." Klavier smirked.

"well... alright, alright. We'll go." Ema smiled at Maggey.

Maggey was now laughing.

"Bye." Ema said.

"Ja." Klavier said as he hung up.

When Ema put the phone down she burst out laughing.

"You planned this didn't you?!" Maggey laughed.

"Yes, yes, of course! And he fell right into it!" Ema laughed even harder.

"So what will you do to make him dump you?" Maggey said as she dried her tears of joy.

"What men hate the most. Clingy women, cry babies, baby talk, and a bunch more." Ema smirked.

at 8pm, at the live basketball game

Ema and Klavier were both standing, cheering for the game.

"I can't believe you're into basketball, Klavier Gavin!" Ema laughed.

"I am! When I saw the tickets in your bag I was really happy." Klavier shouted over the screaming crowd.

"That reminds me, you opened my bag." Ema pouted.

"I didn't. Edgeworth did." Klavier kept his eyes on the game.

As much as Ema wanted to watch the game, too... She had too make Klavier annoyed.

"Oh really?" Ema eyed him.

"Ja. He saw it and I told him not to touch it, because a woman's bag is like her PRIDE and Joy, he inner self, something that can't be opened just like that, but he knocked it off the chair and the things fell over and I saw it." Klavier still kept his eyes on the game.

"hmph. This isn't working...aha..."Ema thought to herself.

"Klavier...I'm thirsty..." Ema pulled on Klavier's jacket.

"Alright, 1 minutes left, I'll get you a drink after." Klavier still kept his eyes on the game.

Ema was determined to drive him insane.

"Pleaaaaaassseee? I'm REALLY thirsty..." Ema pleaded. She even threw the puppy dog eyes.

Klavier glanced at her.

"Okay never mind, I'll go get it" Ema tried to get out of her seat.

"No, no, I'll get it. Stay there, ja?" Klavier stood and ran out.

"Hehe." Ema giggled.

Let's follow Klavier...

"Coke please." Klavier ran.

"We're out." the bartender said.

Klavier moved to the next bartender.

"Out." The bartender said.

Klavier was annoyed, and moved to the next one.

"Coke." Klavier panted.

"No ice?" The bartender asked.

"No ice." Klavier confirmed.

Klavier faced back and saw a live screen TV of the game. He watched it.

"No, , No, No!!" Klavier was frustrated because the player missed the shot.

"So I'll put ice?" The bartender was confused.

"No, no, no ice." Klavier rushed.

Klavier grabbed the drink and went back, but when he got back, the game was done.

He went to Ema and they both left to eat at Klavier's place

At Klav's place...

"I'm sorry you missed the game..." Ema said while eating the appetizer in front of her.

"It's okay, ja? Snackoos as an appetizer?" Klavier joked.

"I like it." Ema grinned.

"I know you do." Klavier shot back.

Klavier spent about an hour before he finished cooking his meal.

Klavier placed his home-cooked ribs on the table.

Ema looked at it...

Then she started to sob.

"Ja, Fraulein, what happened...? are you okay? Don't cry...there..." Klavier knelt down and looked at Ema.

"It'...beautiful..really... gorgeous...i...wish I ate meat..." Ema sobbed.

Klavier tried to look okay, but he was clearly upset.

Ema saw that he was. deep inside she was laughing like crazy.

"I have to make this girl fall in love with me.. I need to... just... a few more days..." Klavier thought.

"You know..Mary had a little lamb...little lamb...little lamb..I just can't eat this..the...poor lamb..." Ema cried.

"Okay, okay.." Klavier and Ema ate out to a vegetable restaurant.

At the vegetarian place...

Ema was in the comfort room, laughing silently.

She looked at the mirror, and tried to look sick, then she went out to where Klavier was eating.

Klavier was putting A LOT of aslt on his food, since it didn't taste like anything,

"Are you okay?" He asked Ema as Ema sat down.

"Yes. I just felt a little sick after seeing the lamb..." Ema said.

Ema saw a girl waiter cleaning up the table in front of them.

"Excuse me, do you have any more salt?" Klavier asked the girl.

The girl looked at Ema and Klavier.

Ema took the chance.

Ema started to cry loudly.

"My Boyfriend thinks I'm Fat!!!!!" Ema cried.

"I-I don't!" Klavier was shocked.

All the people in the restaurant glared at him.

Ema stood up and went to the comfort room crying.

"I don't think she's fat." Klavier smiled at the waitress.

"Sucks to be her with a boyfriend like you." The waitress sneered at him.

"Oh great, I'm losing my touch." Klavier face palmed.
