Chase grinned, and knew it was time. He stopped walking and stood in front of her. "I think we're done flirting," he whispered, with a wink. Chase's hands went around to her back, and he closed his eyes, leaning in toward her, until he was barely an inch from her lips.

We'll let her finish, he thought.

Chase hummed. Bry's lips felt warm on his, and he pulled her closer, and even squatted slightly to make her more comfortable. He pulled back, with enormous effort, smiled, and on impulse kissed her again.

Felix would be proud, he thought again.

Chase's hands were energetic, moving up and down her back indecisively. His breath and heart rate quickened, and he knew he was going into one of his craily energetic states. At this point, the only thing to calm him was driving upwards of 150 mph, or speed metal at blistering volumes.

Chase mustered all of his strength to pull his head back. He was still very close, and his adrenaline was driving him crazy. He breathed heavily and laughed breathlessly. "W-Wow!" Chase exclaimed. "I haven't gotten that hyped in a long time!"

Chase chuckled, his heart pounding. "Yeah, yeah, maybe we should." He stepped back and held her hand, walking down the sidewalk and breathing slowly. "Sorry, I get into those little hyper fits a lot. It's an issue I have, and well, that's what makes it hard for me to stay in one place," he explained, feeling his pulse slowing down.

Chase shook his head. "I don't care at this point, Bry." He could feel his adrenaline pumping at her voice and he strained to control himself. He let go of her hand abruptly and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Jesus, if you keep on being yourself, I'm gonna explode," he muttered.

Chase kissed her furiously, his blood feeling like it was boiling. Come on, come on! This isn't helping! He knew this was simply fueling the rush. However, he simply couldn't pull away, and his arms wrapped tighter around her. But why isn't she pulling away? he wondered.

"Wait! WAIT!" Chase shouted out, much louder than he intented. "Bry, don't go! Don't go! Hold on!" He ran after her, his mind racing and his heart pounding. "Bry, wait!" he urged when he reached her, grabbing her arms tightly. "Don't go, please. Give me a chance! I just need to calm down!" he exclaimed very uncalmly.

Chase broke into a cold sweat and groaned. She thinks I'm crazy! Well, I am crazy! She's right! Jesus, I'm a nut! How do I calm down?! Think! THINK! He snapped his fingers rapidly, and frantically thought what he could do to calm himself. "Do you have a sedative on you?" he asked quickly. Oh, THAT makes me sound much more sane. he thought sarcastically.

"No, no, forget that. But is there a hospital nearby?" he asked.

Chase smiled and abruptly started running down the street. "Stay here!" he shouted behind him, and sprinted towards the hospital.

The large white building came into view a few minutes later and he arrived breathless at the door. He ran inside and dashed toward the Pharmacy depot.

"I need your strongest sedative, NOW!" he barked, and the doctor jumped, pulling a syringe off the rack. Chase grunted and hopped over the counter, snatching the needle and injecting himself. Immediately, he felt himself calm down, and his eyes fluttered. W-Whoa... I didn't know this thing was that... powerful...

He fell to the ground in a deep sleep as the doctors looked around with confused glances.

The doctor on hand shrugged with a bug eyed look. "I don't know! He just ran in like a maniac and jumped into the pharmacy!"

The pharmacist ran out. "Would you like to tell me what the HELL that was?!" The other doctor yelled back, "What happened?"

"The kid ran in, shouting about a sedative. I picked it up and he just injected himself right there! Damn junkies!" the pharmacist cursed.

The doctor shrugged. "Normally, the medicine lasts a few hours, but from the way he was so energetic, I would say his adrenaline alone will negate it to about 2 hours," he guessed.

Chase suddenly woke up.

He awoke in a haze, wondering lazily where he was. The white lights hurt his eyes, and he felt rested. Not quite tired, because his adrenaline and the sedative clashed to simply drop his high. He yawned and rubbed his eyes.

When Chase could see clearly, he saw Bry kneeling close to him. He gasped. "B-Bry! I'm sorry," he apologized quickly. It was all coming back to him now. "I'm sorry, Bry. I didn't mean to leave you so quickly, I wasn't thinking straight," he explained, talking very fast.

The doctor gasped in astonishment. This was absolutely unprecedented. No one in history could wake up that quickly from a sedative that powerful. He was a medical marvel.

Whatever's wrong with me doesn't impair my judgement, it just gives me something of an adrenaline rush. See, I usually don't have this problem on dates, because things usually... erm... Escelate, so that makes it a bit harder for me to take things slowly, like with you." He gave her a smile.
