Gretsch makes my favorite guitars to begin with so I'm kind of biased, but damn. I do love me the looks of the White Falcon.

casio cz-101 is the classic boxy synth, but it was really one of the first commercially available synths that had programmable switches and removable storage. really great, classic synthpop sound - grizzly bear uses a cz-101 on veckatimest, and i have one too.
roland sp-404 is really the ultimate as far as portable samplers go (sp-505, the highest sp- is often quoted as being too unwieldly), and really it's amazing - check this video out to see some of what it can do. i love them and desperately want one.

I'm in love, Gretsch guitars are beautiful.
I rather like Les Pauls in general too, the Epiphone Wildkats look a bit like they are trying to be Gretsch but it is not uncommon really to have sameish guitars in looks, I suppose.

I also think steel drums are great as well. I had a teacher play one once and I fell in love with it.
