((Yay! Thank you JasmineJustice and xNoLemonsHerex. Due to the fact that I'm not completely sure how many bridesmaids were invited to attend, I'll have GDM continue with instructions. If there are any more bridesmaids/groomsmen out there, I'd greatly appreciate it if you came in to join our little 'huddle'. ^_^))
((@.Marisa. I'll assume that, since Best Man/Woman is normally to the groomsmen the equivalent of Maid of honor to the bridesmaids, meaning the one who helps them organize that you went to the left. contrary to what I said earlier in my ooc post about you heading towards the staircase, sorry >.<))

GDM watched as Crouton, Jasmine, and xNLHx made their way over to the staircase. I'm glad at least some people heard me She then looked to her left and saw .Marisa. standing by herself. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to separate the bridesmaids from the groomsmen. Poor .Marisa. "So this is everyone, hmm?" She looked at the four people and watched them look at one another. GDM put on a big smile and spoke into the microphone again. "That's okay. We can do this, right?" Before she put her microphone back into the stand, she turned towards .Marisa. and continued to smile brightly "Hey .Marisa.? Why don't you come over here with me and join the bridesmaids?" She waved her hand as a signal for .Marisa. to walk with her. "We'll make this wedding great."

With that, GDM returned the microphone and strutted over to the staircase, clipboard in-hand. "Well," GDM started as she approached the bridesmaids, "let's start out by making sure everything is in order, right? Does anyone know if the cake has actually made it into the chapel? I know that Lida has ordered it, however, I don't know where it is at the moment."

((I suggest we just make things up. Someone, anyone, can answer 'yes, it's here' or 'no, it's coming/~~not coming o_0~~'. My main plan was just to regroup all the bridesmaids and get everyone into position when the ceremony comes around. Right now, we'll just ''fill in'' time by decorating, double-checking and such. That is, unless someone else has an idea. I'd be very open to suggestions with this.))

Justice noticed people coming in. 'Finally' He thought. "Uh...hey folks. I guess I'll play some filler for a while" Justice began playing the popular Church tune "City of God" A cheery song that usually stands as a symbol of hope. He sang the refrain only, and played the rest.
"Let us, build, the city, of Gooood, may our tears, be turned into dancing...for the Lord, our light, and our love...has turned the night into day."

Justice prided himself on his piano skills, but he could sing pretty well.

TheIkeMaster checked the mail. It was full of letters, since she hadn't checked it in several days for who knows why. Hmmm... she thought as she flipped through the letters, so far all of them junk. If I had a dollar for every piece of junk mail I got... Hm? She came across a rather formal looking letter. From Lida. She opened the letter and read it over, her eyes widening. "Oh snap..." she said to herself after she had finished reading it. "Oh snap!" Immediately she dashed inside to grab something formal-looking and put it on. Then, it was off to the wedding.

GDM turned to face whomever had just spoke to her. She smiled, recognizing ILPWXD as a friend. "Oh, hello. Lida isn't here yet. If I'm not mistaken," GDM looked at her watch. "she's still getting ready for the ceremony over at her house. She should be over here soon, though." GDM turned back to face the bridesmaids. "OK, let's come back to the cake." She grabbed a tote bag out from behind the podium. "Here are the decorations. Some were donated by the chapel, some other people brought in, and some I bought myself. In this bag is everything from tablecloths to streamers. We need to get this chapel fit for the wedding ceremony, so grab something and let's start decorating!" GDM held the bag out in front of her as a signal for people to start taking what they need.

((About the bag: let's make it sort of 'magical' in the sense that anything you need for decorating the chapel is there. If you need confetti- it's in the bag. If you need doilies- they're in the bag. If you need little figurines to put at place settings- they're in the bag. Heck, if you need sky-blue-pink napkins with leprechauns on 'em- they're in the bag (however, probably not for this wedding). This way people can have free reign with decorating and probably have some fun with it. Just reach into the bag and grab. Oh, and please make sure everything is wedding-like. We don't need something like a disco-ball hanging from the center of the roof, but something like a prism in the shape of a swan as a center-piece that projects little rainbow everywhere might be very nice. Especially if someone puts it in the sun.))

Steel was waiting in front of the church. Feeling extremely self-conscious she walking into the church. She walked through the hallways, trying to find GDM then she saw Jasmine and started walking towards her. "Jasmine!" Steel called out.

DeMat was still listening to Justice's music, and greeting guests here and there. He then recognized GDM, who seemed like she was preparing everything. He wanted to know where he should go, so he approached her.

"Hey, GDM!", he greeted her. "Nice to see you! I don't know if you know me, I'm DeMat, one of Lida and Aliucon's sons."

"DeMat!" GDM set down the tote bag and welcomed DeMat with a warm handshake. "Of course I remember you. You're going to be the ring bearer, right?" Realizing that he probably came to her for direction, ((lol, yes, I stole that from your post)) she reached behind her and grabbed a roll of white streamers. "How'd ya like to help us hang some streamers?" She grabbed the lose end in one hand and the role in the other. "Here's a neat trick for you. Tape one end of the steamers to the wall," GDM held up the lose end. "and take the role and turn it around several times until you reach the other wall. Like this." She twisted the roll around a few times to demonstrate it. "See? Looks nice, right?"

GDM rolled it up and handed the roll over to DeMat. "There's a stepladder over there by the front door." She pointed to it.

((I'm not sure if it's customary to do streamers that way, but that's the way I've always seen them. They're kinda scalloped, but still in a straight line. :yuusaku:

Suddenly, GDM started asking him for help with decoration. He tried to speak, but GDM was talking too fast.

"See? Looks nice, right?", she said.

"Oh, yes, it looks nice", he smiled. Meh, I'll do good by myself, I guess, he thought, and grabbed the roll. "Got it."

GDM thanked him, and he started stretching colorfull rolls in every direction. He was glad he could help at his parents' wedding, and it helped him with the little nerves he had.

Feeling rather self-conscious, TheIkeMaster walked inside the church. She scanned the room, checking every face for someone she knew. So far, she wasn't familiar with anyone. She sighed.

Aliucon was hearing GDM's instructions given to everyone up there, the cake and decorations. She seems quite willing to work on this.. I have to remember to thank her later. He waited until she had stopped giving instructions to everyone, the last one being DeMatador. Aliucon followed him with his eyes. My son, too, is helping...I better make myself useful too, then! He chuckled before walking towards GDM.

"Hey, excuse me, GDM. Can I...well, help with the decor, or with anything else we might have to do?" He asked, thinking it should be better than doing anything, he was pretty sure we wouldn't be finding anyone else to talk to. Besides, he was feeling guilty for having left Marisa somewhat alone there...

DeMat was almost done with those rolls, when he saw Aliucon approaching.
"Dad!", he greeted him, with a warm hug. "I hadn't seen you anywhere!" He let go of Aliucon, realizing he maybe hugged him too hard. "Sorry! I'm just so happy you are mom are getting married!"

Aliucon was about to return the hug when DeMat let him go, so he stopped, but still smiled to him warmly. "Hey there! I've been around for some time, actually, outside of the church, taking some time to think..." Then Aliucon patted him on the shoulder. "Aaaand don't worry: I'm even happier than you are." he said to his son, his smile growing wider.

GDM smiled warmly when DeMat hugged Aliucon. They make such a lovely family. Hm, maybe I should get married one of these days... She quickly shook the idea from her mind and looked up to answer Aliucon's question. "Hmm... well," she looked around the chapel with a critical eye "the tables look a little bare." She grabbed the tote and brought it in front of her. "If you wanted to help put some table cloths on the tables, along with maybe a nice center piece..." GDM offered the tote to Aliucon. "That was going to be my next job. If you wanted to help me position some things, I'd sure appreciate it." She smiled.

Ulala heard the door bell go, and Lida went in a mad rush to answer it, tripping down the stairs. Ulala heard a large, dreadful tearing sound...and saw that Lida had ripped her dress.

Before Ulala could force herself not to panic like MAD, Lida had gotten a nearby pair of scissors and managed to rectify her dress by making it look intentional.

Ulala was rather stunned for a moment, but then she laughed.

"Now that's our Lida...oh, Aliucon is going to have his hands full with her." She giggled, walking down and taking care not to trip like the bride.

Marisa had followed GDM and the bridesmaids, silently going over in her head everything she could do to help as they made their way around the room. She was still slightly nervous, so she'd rather watch as things unfolded, awaiting to see if she was needed for anything.

She had glanced at the streamers DeMetador had spread around, and the roses xNLHx was currently draping along the pews. So far, everything seems to be going good....

She then overheard what GDM had told Aliucon about the tables. Well...that does seem easy enough. And with a low risk of embarrassing myself in some way.... She walked over to Aliucon and GDM, happy to be able to do something, and smiled. She quickly stuck her hand into the tote bag, digging around, untill she pulled out a white table cloth.

"I'll help with that too....if thats ok with you....?"

(Sorry guys. I just got an invitatin because I haven't been on in a while)

Elias ran back into his house as fast as he could.

"I can't believe I didn't wake up and check my mail!" He yelled to himself. That's what one gets for going into a self induced coma for a while.

Quickly taking a shower and brushing his teeth, he looked into his closet.

"Lida knows me as a man of many faces. Who should I go as?" He looked through his many different sets of clothes, "And while I'm at it, should I fake a hissy fit about it being Aliucon instead of me after all the time in story-writing-land we spent together?...Naw. I'm not that being of a jerk." He paused to dance the jerk, then quickly grabbed his latest costume.

His hair was hanging, though his bangs weren't long enough to cover his eyes. He put on a button up white shirt, a brown vest and pants, and left the house, cricket bat in hand. He also put his lute in the car, wondering if the original Elias Bloodmoon would make an apperence tonight. Maybe sing a little too. But that was neither here or there.

He stopped just in front of the doors to where the wedding was. For a second he looked at the doors, then took two dice out of his pocket: one with the numbers 0-9 on it, another with multiples of 10 from 00-90. He knelt down and rolled.

"97! So much for a dramatic entrence where I look like a total BA..." As he opened the door, he suddenly felt himself tripping forward, do a couple rolls and land face first on the ground.

"Ow."

ILPWXD saw someone trip over and ran over to help. "Oh my gosh, are you OK?" she said, helping the person up. Then she noticed he looked kinda familiar. "Hey, do I know you?" she asked. She couldn't remember where she had seen him before, but she was sure she knew him...or did she? I dunno... she thought.

Aliucon flashed a smile back to GDM, and was about to grab one of the several table clothes on the tote bag when Marisa dug her hand there to grasp one too, so he waited for her to finish, and heared her words just after. He felt himself smile. "Thanks for helping me, Mar." He got a few more table clothes with him and turned around to look at the tables themselves.

He was about to move when he turned his head to Marisa again. "Ladies first." He backed down, making way for Marisa to head for the tables first. It was unlike him to joke around much like that, specially in such a formal occasion, but he had just felt so much more confortable in the presence of more people he could talk to, that he couldn't let that chance slip by. He chuckled.

"I'm okay!" Elias yelled as he climbed back up to his feet. He rubbed his neck, slightly embaressed.

"Stupid...97...dice" Were the only words heard as muttered to himself. For a second he looked at the girl next to him.

"Ummm... maybe. I think I may have done a performance at a batmitzva where I met you..." He paused, "Or you may have read one of my stories. Who knows."

((Oh man- so much has happened in this wedding *u* Last I remember I was dusting cat hair off the wedding dress XD GDM- you're doing an AWESOME job coordinating the bridesmaids ^^ ))

Noticing that GDM had the organising of the bridesmaid totally on hand, Arkillian looked around for where her daughter had got to. Finding Rosie nearby, now standing with a slit up her dress, Arkillian's eyes balloned.

"Rosey! Your dress! First the cat hair, now this! I think you need a good luck charm sewn into your gown!" Brushing out a few creases in the dress, Arkillian sighed. "You still look fantastic though. Has the cake arrived yet?"

Lida ran past DoMaya and his kitty, looking at her watch and panicking. She was going to be late. She was going to be late. She ran into the church and into the nearest dressing room so as not to let Aliucon see her yet. Then, Arkillian walked in.
"The cake? I'm...Not sure. I just got here," Lida replied. She smiled up at Arky. "GDM would probably know."

((@Arkillian & Lida: GDM now has the cake in-tow. Would you like her to convienently walk by the bride's dressing room, or will one of you come and find her? Either is fine with me. (: ))

Seeing that Aliucon and .Marisa. got along quite well and seemed to have things under control, GDM decided her services would be put to better use elsewhere. "You two seem to have a good grasp on getting these tables ready. If it's all the same, I'm probably needed more abroad." GDM smiled, them excused herself. She still needed to find the cake.

She remembered what Platinum Skye said about a delivery person parking outside. That had to be the cake, it just had to. What else would a delivery truck be doing outside.?

Figuring the best place to look would be in a cooler environment, as most delivery people know that cakes don't do well in heat, GDM decided to check the food preparation area. However, as this was her first time in this particular chapel, she did no know where anything that might resemble a food preperation area would be. Looks like I'll just have to walk around until I find it... She looked down at her shoes, which were 4'' heels. ... or not. That could be painful. Just then, she heard someone whistling in the front lobby. Oh great, more people to look after. Better go see who it is. GDM strutted over to the lobby.

She rounded the corner to reveal a very impatient-looking delivery person. He was towing a silver cart with, on top of it, none other than the cake! GDM quickly made her way over to the man. "I've been looking everywhere for that! Thank you so much." Just as she was about to relieve him of the cake, GDM noticed him holding out his hand. "Sorry, I'm only the Maid of Honor. You'll have to find someone else to give you a tip." She tried to get away with the cake before he could ask again.

"But ma'm. I've dun been wait'n here for a good half hour. I don't think my back can take much more." The delivery man continued to hold out his hand.

GDM sighed. "Fine." She reluctantly dug into her purse for a five dollar bill, then held it up for him to see. "There. Thank you again." GDM handed him the money, then swiped the cart and quickly made her way down the hall.

((cue GDM either running into Arkillian/Lida or walking past the bride's dressing room))

Aliucon nodded in agreement to GDM when she praised their work, and flashed her a smile before she left. Well, it's nothing complicated, anyway... He thought while he straightened the table cloth over one, having extreme care with it so it wouldn't show any wrinkles. Even though he was watching this carefully, he was going pretty fast from table to table, until he ran out of table clothes.

He moved back to the tote bag to grab more, but as he did, he ended up kicking it and all the table clothes inside scattered on the floor. "Oh, ops..." Aliucon quickly crouched down to retrieve them and continue "working", occasionally looking to the guests present.

GDM stopped and turned around when she heard Lida call. "Just a minute~!" She scampered back to the bride's dressing room and pushed the door open. GDM rolled the cart in behind her and closed the door. Although it was a little cramped inside the dressing room with her, Lida, Arkillian, and the cake, there was still enough room to function. Plus, it was better than leaving the cake outside for someone to steal frosting from. ((lol, I could so picture that happening))

She found two chairs standing next to the door, dragged them over to Lida, and sat down in one. She offered Lida the other, "Here ya go." GDM opened her purse to reveal beauty tools of every kind. ((Lida, anything you need is there. It's kinda like the magic tote bag)) She emptied the contents out on the vanity's top. ((Every dressing room has a vanity. Every single one.)) "Now, what would you like help with?"

"Well..." Lida began, grabbing the mascara first. "A bit of mascara. Some eye shadow...Which color do you think would look best on me? Perhaps some blush..." She dug through the makeup for what she needed. "Um...How did you fit a curling iron in here?" she asked, taking out her ponytail. "I think I'll leave my hair down and curl it. Will that look good?"
