i really like alcohol and i love all manner of drinks. mixed drinks are good but i am really all about beer, as well as
which is my absolute favorite drink ever.
i drink a good amount, i think, which is basically indicated by how drunk i am. i am a serious lightweight and i don't usually need much more than a drink or two to keep me well placated for the rest of the evening. i almost never get blackout drunk, or drunk to the point where i forget what's happening or what i'm doing, but it can happen. the last time it did i had a combo of two beers, half of a hard cider and a swig of someone's dr. pepper + tequila combo.

Seriously though, I do quite enjoy drinking. Don't get to do so as often as I'd like however. :( I used to drink quite heavily but it started getting very out of control, very fast. Probably coz of all the vodka. >_> Last time I drank vodka I ended up doing a strip tease in the middle of a camping site, ha ha. Nowadays however, I keep it in check. You know what they say, you always have to have the one too many to know what it is. Still can't drink without getting drunk. Just can't say no to free alcohol, I suppose...
My personal preference of drink is cider, Bulmers, Kopparburg etc. I don't mind wine either, depends on the country of origin (South Africa = fuck yes) but I try and avoid having it straight when I can. Spirits are a-ok, and I've a massive love of apple sours. <3

Straight single malt whiskey (glenmorangie) and bourbons (Maker's Mark or Woodford Reserve) are nice. I also like sake but seems none of my friends do and the stuff we get here is not too much cop, oh well more for me. I generally drink Bitters though, not too fussy which one, as my 'social' drink, Caffreys or Boddingtons is fine too, sometimes Guinness but that is a bit heavy for my taste, I generally do not drink much. I will try most drinks once, OH, I also like good tequila, but not 'slamming' it, that is the stupid way of enjoying it.
I have my gay side which likes Bailys, St Germain and Midori is lovely though. I like making Midori flavored jello.
That sparks stuff looks like a health risk and fucked up hang over waiting to happen, but I guess no more than peoples love of mixing Red Bull with vodka here.

Spirits wise, I like rum. Whisky can be too... sickly. I like rum and orange best, though rum and cola works too. Gin is terrible, BLECH.

I also enjoy Pear Cider, but I haven't tried many other ciders or beers. Sometimes we buy those flavored Smirnoff drinks (also known as Bitch Beer or Alchoholic Kool-Aid). Those barely qualify as alcohol though (and don't put them in the freezer because they will freeze).

I've never passed out from drinking, nor have I forgotten what happened the night before but I have gotten hangovers twice. I just had one over the weekend. Not fun considering I had to go home and act like nothing happened at all... I get drunk really quickly. The last party I went to(before the one this past weekend), I drank about a beer and a half and I was already getting tipsy and I only drank two Mike's Hard lemonades before I started getting tipsy at the most recent party.
Umm, I think the funniest thing I've done was when I jumped off a skateboard, lost control, and flew off of it and landed on my butt. The skateboard flew into the wall XD Also, baking while drunk is hilarious.

I don't care for beer, though oddly, I love the smell of freshly brewed beer.
I've also been known to enjoy mandarin vodka or a strawberry margarita on occasion. Cosmopolitans... once in a blue moon.
While I don't drink as often or as much as my peers, I have a tendency to put alcohol in my food. Rum cake roll, white Kahlua cake, bourbon truffles, to name a few. I also like to put wine in french onion soup (white) or minestrone (red) and even occasionally in an omelet or in sauce for an entrée.
