No, after the first day, when they talked about what the card meant. No one was in the courtroom, the didn't mention the card the second day of trial, to keep it a secret.

@Percei: ...Those quotes were taken from the second day. That first quote was part of Edgey's opening statement, and the second was during Will's testimony.

@Greeny: Does this mean that this investigation is over already? :yuusaku:

I think that
Spoiler: Possible Killer?
The Joseph Black did it, falsified evidence to convict Francis (e.g. the note, he could have paid Victor Bruno off, planted the card in order to buy time to hide the real evidence, the bottle that was thought to have put Brandy into unconciousness, the like. THAT is why I think that Black
did it.

Adrian took the card before the police even got there! Do you suggest they should make a time machine?

Greeny's right: The courthouse was empty when Edgeworth pointed the card out. The courthouse may have seen the card, but they had no idea of the meaning of the card. I doubt even Maya knew the meaning of the card! The clients may not even know it themselves! Once again, the only reason so many people in 2-4 found out about it (and by so many, I mean: Phoenix, Matt, (maybe pearls) and Adrian. And as Edgeworth said They had no reason to release the data.) was because of Adrian's carelessness. They may have been other cases, but it's been kept EXTREMELY underwraps, so much that apparently even a respected forensic investigator wouldn't know.

And even if the entire courthouse found out, as you showed earlier, I will state again what Edgeworth said: Everyone had to sign waivers saying that they will not disclose any details about the case. I'm just paraphrasing, but I believe a very close eye has been kept on them, and none of the people had any reason to reveal the information. Also, 2-4 was probably the ONLY case to involve DeKiller that revealed those inside details.

I never said it was their fault or that they couldn't help it. But the fact is that Adrian was flashing this top secret card to people all day... and they didn't notice until Adrian waved it in front of Edgey's eye's for a few hours.

Quote:
Greeny's right: The courthouse was empty when Edgeworth pointed the card out. The courthouse may have seen the card, but they had no idea of the meaning of the card.

Yes, the courthouse was empty when Edgeworth noticed the card. But this is rendered moot by the fact that he showed the card to the court the next day when it was full and explicitly stated what it was!! If I say something in a room by myself, and then go to a room with other people and say that same thing again, does that mean nobody knows what I said? (Because that's what you're saying; Edgeworth said what the card was when the courthouse was empty, and he said it when the courthouse was full.)

Quote:
They may have been other cases, but it's been kept EXTREMELY underwraps, so much that apparently even a respected forensic investigator wouldn't know.

I'd expect Edgeworth just coming right out and saying what the card is to the court is standard procedure for de Killer... so everyone who has ever been in court when de Killer was brought up could know about it.

Quote:

Yes, because the police are 100% accurate with keeping track of every minute detail of many peoples' lives every day indefinitely. And if someone can get away with murder, a little waiver from a while back is really going to stop them.

Quote:
Also, 2-4 was probably the ONLY case to involve DeKiller that revealed those inside details.

I don't see why that would be; what makes 2-4 different from any other case?

Normally people are not tried for the murder when DeKiller is the killer. But that was the one case where the card was taken from the scene, and was never put down anywhere. I believe normally people don't go around stealing cards...

Hmmm.... Touche.

But... then they would need to find out de Killer's client. And it seems like they would put who they think is the client on trial (otherwise 2-4 would've just ended after the discovery of the card). At the beginning of the second day of 2-4, as I posted, Edgey was like, "Hey court, look! This is de Killer's card! It means he assassinated the victim! Now we need to find his client." I'd imagine that they'd say something to that effect at the beginning of other trials involving de Killer...

Excellent! But why wouldn't you want PV:AA published under BCE!? I figured it'd be a HUGE nonexistant profit boost as it's going to be free and BCE techinically doesn't make any profit.

Probably because they needed to buy time to catch DeKiller. If they just stopped the trial right then, DeKiller would have dropped off Maya and left. But if they extended the trial, he'd still need to stay a reasonable distance nearby.

So it's sponsored by Bluecorps, but is property of Big Corporate Things, Inc.? Maybe the two should merge...

Big Bluecorporate Things, Inc. *shot*

EDIT: Also, the reason it's the most deadly weapon known to an assassin is because assassins can't resist it... but if they eat too much, they get fat and then can't do their assassin-ly duties anymore, such as running from the cops. But it's okay, because Shelly burns the fat passively just by being cool.
