Agreed. I'll never understand why they don't seem to let you get more lives, it's annoying not being able to replace lost lives.
EDIT: Figured out how to gain more lives.
In other news, I got Super Smash Bros. for Virtual Console (Wii). It's just as good as I remember it being. (I used to play it at a friends house, until his brother sold the 64)
