He leaned his head back, which slightly hurt, but it was over-powered by his arm and gut. "So let me get this straight. I'm riding my motorbike just off a whim, and then I stupidly enough crash, and now I'm here cut, banged-up, feel like death, and apparently from what you're telling me, have slight amnesia?" Howl stared up to the ceiling, or what he thought was the ceiling. "...You expect me to believe that?"

Rose then went back up to the room where both Howl and Sheila were, following the directions of the doctors, and entered just in time to hear Howl asking about today's events. "Actually, you didn't ride your motorbike on a whim, Ingmune," Rose started. "You were going to get Katrina, who was shot twice, from the courthouse to this hospital, but you were in such a hurry that now you're in a worse situation than she is. She paused to breathe, then continued. "Sheila is here because she went back to the courthouse, but was shot again by the sniper, whom she shot first."

Katrina had been awake about ten minutes, maybe it was the pain meds, but everything seemed like a bit of a dream to her. She chewed on the food that was given to her, it wasn't half bad actually. She watched the TV and wondered what had happened since the shots had been fired at her.

Howl fell silent. He knew he could trust the voice. He felt he could, but didnt know who or why. He lied. "Well yeah. I know who you are. Why wouldn't I?" Howl laughed a bit before coughing. "It's like you think I forgot 'er something..."

Katrina shook her head vigourously a couple times to keep herself awake, those pain meds were killer. Heh, the irony. She turned and smiled weakly. "Oh, don't worry about me, I'm doing fine, watching an interesting TV Show... something about interior designers, and a TV Show to be one... it's from earlier this year so it's a marathon. I'm rooting for this Bordain girl... Patricia I think her name is. I don't have surgery for two days, so I'll get to finish it. Man.. this food isn't bad at all... anyway, you seem to be doing well and uninjured, already better than the rest of us. So... how ARE Howl and Sheila, I can't well go visit them, they don't want me moving around too much, only for personal business, as they just did some basic stitches as they're going back into me in a couple days."

He blankly stared at her. "I... was at the courthouse? I didn't have any cases to run... I didn't have any files to look over." He started to show a bit of distress on his face. It was somewhat frightening not being able to know what he had done. "Wh-What was I doing?"

Howl's eye widened. "You were shot?! How come I wasn't informed about this?! Did anyone find the bullets? Did anyone check the video surveillance?" Howl caught himself rapid-firing... something he only did when he was fearful... "I... I can't remember..." He looked at himself. Cut up, bruises, cast on one arm, IV's in the other, markings everywhere on him. He was scared. He couldn't move much, couldn't remember anything... not even how he had done THIS to himself. He wanted to crawl to a corner and die. His pain and fear was noticeable in his tone. "I... was drinking at my bar in the basement. That's the last thing... I can r-remember."

Nobody found the bullet that I am aware of...As for checking the video surveillance, I...I'm not sure, either...I think maybe you did that..." Sheila explained. "You were drinking at a bar in the basement? Hm...Then I can imagine you'd think this was a drunken accident. Or perhaps that this is all a dream. But it's not like that at all." She looked down.

"I was drinking pretty heavily... but I certainly wouldn't drive my motorbike after such an event. So you can rule out drunken accident. But as for a dream? Yeah... I'm waiting to wake up from this nightmare. I'm probably passed out asleep still at the bar... I can't take it. It's... freaky not being able to know what I've done and what I should know. I feel... like a lost child, knowing nothing, not even where he's at, or what to do..." He became logical, as if he was in a courtroom. "...why can't I remember? I should start there. Why am I clueless? I could have suffered from Myrocenisiecs from drinking... but I wouldn't be able to dream or feel pain. I could have slight amnesia... but I had to of hit my head with enough force to disturb the Pastrial balance with my brain, or been poisoned. Both unlikely, I haven't done anything..." Howl sat there, mind racing, and theorizing.

"It's okay, Howl," Sheila said. "That fear...I felt something similar when I was shot. You went to investigate with a team because we both agreed that the man was probably not just after me. And I was afraid...For everyone. Look, the man isn't going to bother us anymore. I shot him...With this gun." She pulled the gun out of her purse. "He...Isn't dead...But he's in here, I'm sure. And he is probably going to be in jail for a long time..." She then sat up straighter to look at Howl closer. "And I don't know if this is something you can try to reason out, this amnesia. Just be patient and ask the doctor whenever they come in."

Howl hated that word... even though he felt it. "It's not fear... and as for this man... If I ever get near him... I'll rip him limb from limb. Nobody does anything to anybody I care about without losing their neck in a cross-fire." He growled, whether he meant to or not. "I don't know if I'm expecting anybody... or anything, so... I need you to be 'me'. You know more about me than I apparently do, so until I become 'normal' from whatever has happened to me... I need you to speak for me if the doctor comes in."

Howl slightly grinned. "So if it's the same of when Im normal, and when I'm forgetful... then it seems I really mean it. He's a dead man once I see him." Howl laughed, imaging how he'd take care of him. "And thanks." He slightly smiled to her; a rarity. He immediately looked back to his cuts and bruising, estimating how long he'd be here injury-wise.

"I-I don't know. I was worried about you. I heard your injuries were bad, and I needed to make sure you were safe," Satoshi said, looking at his shoes.

(I've dissapointed her. I fail at everything,) he thought.

"Yeah, I came here to make sure that I'd be safe, as well as you," he said. He then looked at the TV. "Sounds like a good show. I'll go check up on them, while I get the case file for my first trial. Also, the name's Blade. Satoshi Blade."

He walked out, and waved to Katrina. He then walked over to Howl and Sheila's room, and knocked.

Or he tried, but Titan had shoved him out of the way, and opened the door.

"Sorry wee man," Titan said. "Are you alright?" he asked Sheila.

"Seriously, we didnt ask for the 3 Stooges here... we'd like our privacy." Howl stared at them all, trying to make out who was intruding in his room.
