After everything they've both been though, with Phoenix working hard in court and Maya being accused of murder and having to train to be the master of kurain, I think the song suits P/M.

You're mistaken. Croik doesn't like Maya, she strongly alludes she finds her irritating, which is her right, of course. [Though for all we know she likes it better than Phoenix/Iris. I have no idea.] But she also posted once she thought based on GS2 that they would make it canon in GS3, so obviously she noticed the viable 'hinting' in that game. I should probably find her post to back up my claim, but no doubt somebody expects me to reply to that 'debate'... I'm sorry, Taffy, but the debate thingy with Exjumbo was only feasible because we posted our complete replies one at a time, not some all out brawl which involves a billion people arguing simultaneously. I also think the concept said argument is over shipping [but no onlooker will ever be able to actually read it] is kind of hilarious.

Hello to Taffy, it's nice to have a Phoenix/Iris shipper who keeps an open mind about Phoenix/Maya too. It kind of surprises me that you would post in here though... (Johnny Rotan comes to mind, but it looks like he's...back?)

Johnny Rotan is an interesting character...I wonder why he posts everywhere implying that they love Phoenix/Iris because they seem to hate Phoenix and Iris. Get this. He said, when the Ace Attorney awards were running between Iris and Young Phoenix as the most hated defendant, that they were voting for the two so prevalently because they liked the pairing. I ended up calling him too optimistic.
That was a LOLZ moment.

OK, I don't want her to die. Now, what would be interesting would be if she snapped. How can you have parents that evil and all of that trauma and NOT end up scarred for life and snap? And don't say it was Bikini and her love or bull like that. I am also of the belief that Dahlia was born that crazy. You can't be THAT batshit insane without being born a sociopath. I imagine her as having set things on fire and hurt small animals as a child, which we have seen her do (in one fell swoop!). But anyway, it'd be interesting to see Iris go yandere.
Come to think of it this series lacks yanderes. And before you say anything about Dahlia or Alita THEY DO NOT COUNT. They were yangires: They were screwed up for reasons other than love. Yanderes do it for love.

The new 'debate' with Taffy is a bit shorter and more concise, since I already thought of all the arguments and am just refining them. Since it's such a damn mess, I thought it might be better to compile it into some more readable and ordered form for reference, what do you say, Taffy?
I don't want Iris to die. She got what she deserved, forgiveness for her personal shortcomings and a [brief] sentence for being accessory to murder or whatever it was. She deserves some kind of loving relationship, but not with Phoenix after that level of betrayal and Phoenix's obvious moving on and personal growth from that time. I actually think Iris/Larry is a nice idea, IF they could both manage to reciprocate. Or she could stay with Bikini, there seems to be love there and people don't necessarily need a romantic relationship for fulfillment.
