Satoshi walked quietly and timidly into a bar near his house. It was obviously a funny site, as a man of his stature and height should not act so timid.

As he entered, he quickly made note of his surroundings. Then he walked up to the bar itself and asked for a pint of 7Up.

How pathetic, he thought to himself. A 24 year old ordering a pint of 7UP in a bar, when he could easily get alcohol. Foolish.

Lida walked into a bar ((and said, "Ouch!" *shot*)) and walked over to the counter.
"Excuse me, Sir," she called out to the bar keeper. "I'd like a water, please." The barkeeper stared at her.
"You look a little young to be in a bar," he commented. Lida laughed.
"Because I am a little young," she responded. "But I'll be fine as long as I don't order anything alcoholic, right? I'm supposed to meet someone here." The barkeeper looked skeptical, but nodded and walked away. She turned to see a man next to her. He had a pint of 7Up in front of him. He seemed to be the most friendly person around her. Or, at least, the only one that would remember her at all the next day.
"Hello, Sir," she said, feeling slightly pathetic. "May I sit next to you?"

Satoshi got a fright as a person of the opposite sex, and in his eyes species, suddenly talked to him. He quickly nodded, trying to avoid conrontation, as he knew it would end up with him being treated like an idiot. He looked at the woman. Woman, wasn't the proper term though, as she was more of a girl, appearing to be only 18 years of age. But she was beautiful. He withdrew these thoughts though, as he realised that he might say something foolish, and be shunned for lie. Again.

"U-u-h-h-y-e-a-h. Y-y-o-u-ca-ca-can."

Satoshi realised that she was friendly, so he let his guard down, even if it would only be down for a few minutes. "I-I'm Satoshi, y-you?" His nerves were still there though. This opposite gender was new to him. But he tried his best. "So, uh, what are you doi-ing in a b-b-bar like this?" At least she partially understood his nerves.

Last time, he had to drive all over the place to find me." She laughed. "I got a nice lecture on costing gas money." She then laughed a little harder at Satoshi's mention of alcohol.
"Not only am I a little too young for that, but I can't even handle a coke more than once in a blue moon," Lida joked. Too bad it was true. "So, is there any particular reason you're here?"

Satoshi laughed so hard he snorted at the coke comment. "I can't stomach alcohol at all. 22 years of age, and one drink makes me shattered completely." Then the question. He'd be honest, but saying that he was a lonely man with no life and no job was a bit too honest for his liking. "I went for a walk and got thirsty, so I walked in. Then I got my drink here, sat down, and then you came and talked to me. Is it wierd that I enjoy us conversing?"

Wow. Someone enjoying his presence. Suddenly, all the weight lifted off of Satoshi's shoulders. "So, Lida, what do you do for a living? I'm a student for jduging, but I failed the exam a few times due to thinking TOO hard about simple thins," he laughed. He started to get an ego, but didn;t want it, because he hated himself. But he couldn't let this show to such a cute girl. He disregarded that thought quickly. Brains before looks, he always said. Complete opposite of what his mum and dad said, but he left them for a reason.

"Hey, good-looking," some random guy butted in. "Wanna have a good time?"
"Hey, random person who reeks of alcohol. I already am having a good time," Lida replied without even looking at him.
"Is that a 'no?'" the man asked. "Come on, I'll buy you a drink."
"I already have one, thanks," Lida answered. The man grabbed her and forced her to turn around. "You really don't want to do this." He leaned in closer to her.

Unofrunatly, Satoshi was a pcifist, but he knew to do something, so he did. Luckily, Satoshi was forced to do judo when he was younger. Sadly, he never listened, so hat he did would have made his judo teacher frown.

He grabbed the bad man's pinky finger and started to twist it. "LET. HER. GO. AND. LEAVE. HER. ALONE." He twisted further. "NOW." Even further.

He was delighted. He had never been invited to go anywhere with anyone since a birthday party when he was 6. "And sorry about that," Satoshi said to the bad man.

"Of course you're nice. What are you talking about? Okay....This way!" She pulled him into Zio's, which was practically empty. "It's not a well-known restaurant yet. So, table or booth?"
