Future Paige stared at the once-beautiful garden that had now been wrecked by scorches from blazing fireballs. "The portal will not close until everyone is there, so I think I will take the time to investigate, like those detective stories that I have always favored, figuring out the key to everything." She then took out a long rod from her bag and started to poke around the area, trying to find an invisible portal since Young Justin couldn't get to this path without a portal. When she found it though, there was also one curious person who was hit by her rod. "Ow! That hurts you know....Paige!" shouted Young Paige in surprise. Future Paige pulled Young Paige into the garden, and told her to help investigate. "First let's try to figure out the easiest thing to do without real investigative tools: see how big the fireball's circumference was." Young Paige then looked in the bag of her counterpart and took out a tape measure, then measured the diameter of the nearest scorchmark. When they had finished figuring out that, Young Paige then rested for a while and looked around, trying to get a grasp of the situation.

YSeth stopped short as a portal appeared right under Y BSX and Y Kristine.
"Great. Another portal of doom. Woot." He looked around to see more portals throughout the garden and two people in the distance. "Well, looks like I might as well talk to whoever they are. Much better than going down a portal of doom anyhow." He walked over to the Paiges, carefully avoiding falling into a portal.

Older Paige spotted a small cotton doll made to look like Mask*deMasque, splattered with blood, and picked it up, and carefully turned it around in her hand. She then noticed a slight gunpowder burn, not a hole, at the side of the doll. "I don't think I saw anyone with this doll here in the maze, do you, Paige?" she asked, yet her question fell on deaf ears, as Young Paige also found something of interest. She hollered to her older self,"Paige! Look at this!"

Older Paige approached to see a bottle of liquid on the ground as well, and, as most people would do, opened the bottle, and peered inside, but immediately she fell to the grass. Young Paige swiftly grabbed the bottle before it could spill, and closed the cap tightly. She then put her hand to Older Paige's chest, and concluded that, "She's still alive, so this must be chloroform," then caught sight of the mini-deMasque doll in Older Paige's hand. She also tossed it around in her palms and came to the same observation as before her, but unlike her older self, she was conscious, and therefore tried searching for the bullet that made a mark on the doll, but in vain. After looking around for quite a while, she thought that the bullet had disappeared in three ways: it is in a victim; it disappeared in one of the portals; it is with Dues. Then after a few minutes, Older Paige came to, and Young Paige explained her theories.

"Y Justin was being, well...Unfriendly, to say the least. He was attacking F Kristine a lot.
"F BSX got angry and tried to help F Kristine. He was threatening Y Justin, who threatened him back.
"Then, F Kristine pointed out that she couldn't die like that, so Y Justin got an evil look in his eye and engulfed in flame, vanishing." That's all I can truthfully say. I guess all of us witnesses will only be telling half-truths. But F Justin is still here, which means whatever happened didn't result in Y Justin's death. But there is still hope. My younger counterpart has no clue what's going on. When he gets here, he'll tell the whole truth and no one will be able to stop him. Not even Dues. Right now, we'll just have to wait.
YSeth finally made it over to the Paiges.
"What's going on here?" he asked. It took a long time for him to get there, considering he had to go around portals.
