Reminds me of the professor from college who gives his lessons and then takes all of the exam questions from the most obscure parts of the book, none of which were covered in said lessons. Seriously, if the only reason your test is hard is because you pick out trifling things that are of little importance to the material, then it's not a very good test at all.
I could forgive it, though, if they told you which ones you actually got wrong. Hmm... maybe it's possible the author got a few wrong himself?
