Abrupt topic change, but who do you guys think would babysit Maya and Nick's kids? Working on my Married Life fic has made me ponder this. I know Gumshoe's a bit unreliable (just a bit?!) but I think it'd be cuuuute if he did it :D Although the idea of Uncle Edgeworth amuses me as well >D And of course, I think Franziska would be the worst choice, though still entertaining... XD
so yeah, ideas? think of it as research for my fic :D

I'm trying to remember...As for babysitting, Larry would be too wild, and Edgeworth might be a bit boring.
My nominess are Gumshoe and Franziska.
WIth gumshoe, once Nick and Maya return from their love-fest Meg will have an insatiable craving ofr instant noodles and say pal a lot, which would be hilarious, and with Franziska, Nick would walk through the door only to be whipped with a licorice stick from Meg, who would start to call him a foolishly foolish fool. And she'd call her dad. Fee-nik Rite. Which would be cool. So you can't go wrong with either of them. Though realistically they'd probably call Edgeworth first, who would be doing something important, so then they'd have to call gumshoe.
So in the end, Gumshoe should baby-sit.
And yay! P/M Day! My favorite day of the week, not including weekends. Today I'll post Don't Say Goodbye on FF.net, and maybe my 3rd chapter of Summer Daze if can get over my mild case of writersblockosis.

EDIT: On the topic of Wednesday being the P/M day of the week, I just noticed something funny. I posted my fic on FF.net last monday, I believe, and when I checked its stats today, the day were it got the most views was, you guessed it, Wednesday. Lol.

those are pretty good :D especially the second one. original ideas ARE tough, that's why I rely so heavily on prompts, lolz.
one of the prompts for my P/M fic was "blackboard" so I decided to do an AU fic in which Nick and Maya were elementary school teachers, hee. I'd like to build on that idea eventually, but it'd be pretty cool to see someone else do it, too :D and it wouldn't have to be elementary~
and I also like that looking back idea for Maya. yeah, the world of P/M needs more fics in Maya's POV. hmm, I should get on that, once I get a solid idea. DX
argh, cut it out! stop giving me writing ideas for these two! I need work on my summer homework :(

One idea we need to see more of is the concept of Phoenix, Maya and Trucy living together as one happy family, with Trucy looking to Maya as her mother. I've seen a couple of fics like this on the kink meme, but I'd love to see someone else's take on it.

So, I kind of got the idea from reading one of icer's fics. In fact, if Nick didn't decide to call off the engagement, this would have been a follow-up to icer's fic.
So basically, Nick is married to Iris, and after 2 years, he's bored as heck. Everything with her is too perfect, and just for once he wants some excitement in his life. So Maya comes down for a visit, they get a little drunk, and Iris just happens to have gone back to Hazakurain to help Sister Bikini...

Timezones are a problem with chats. But we will think of something, even if it's just the usual like fanfics and stuff. And fake holidays are great for drawing attention to our pairing and club

Everybody interested in writing this fic writes a sample, about, oh, I dunno, 500 words? Maybe less, and then the post it here. Then we all vote on one (no voting for yourself!), and whoever has the most votes for their sample gets to write the fic. And it increases hype for it as well. What do you guys think?

*high-fives Justin*. Yeah, Iris is probasbly the dullest character in T&T. Kane Bullard was more interesting than her, and we only heard about him after he died!
And hey, it's never too late to start fic writing, I just started 2 weeks ago. Reading a bunch of P/M fics helps. I think I'll make a list of my all-time favorite fics.
