"Well... it all started with a certain case in which I had forged evidence to ensure a victory for Zak Grammyre but to silence the forger I had to poison her. At the time I was Zak Grammyre's defence attorney that was until he had wanted to play a game of poker with me. After loosing the game of poker he had cast me aside he had said I was no longer needed. Which was a reminder of a...difficult time in my childhood. Afterwards I had learned that Phoenix Wright was his new attorney. You could say I had lost it and I gave the forged evidence to Trucy and get my brother to get him accused of forging evidence. Thus he ended up dissembarred. Seven years after that event I had known that Zak Grammyre was still alive and fearing of getting caught I had done the deed so to speak. In the end I had went ahead and knew that it was just something that had gone out of control. I do regret using my brother and disembarring Wright as well as what I did to Trucy's father and I just..." Kristoph stopped there and wiped his eyes and put back on his glasses regaining his composure. "I'm sorry. If you hate me for disembarring Wright it's fine." Kristoph said. I'm already used to it anyways.

She smiled. "Let's just say I know my way around the detention center. That was when I met Nick. He defended me, even though nobody else believed in me. And...It wasn't even the only time he'd save me." Her smile fell again. "That's why a lot of people don't like you for getting him disbarred. He's a good man and a fantastic attorney." She breathed deeply. "But...I'm sure you don't want to hear all this. You have enough to worry about."

"No. You can't give up on something that you know you are gifted at you just have to persue it. You can't just give up." he reassured her while looking into her eyes. His eyes were burning with a passion. This feeling was new to him and it was something so strong that even that curse couldn't restrict the feeling that he had now. I hope she doesn't hate me for this but I can't help this feeling I have for her. We're all too similar and she was the only one who gave me a second chance. Out of love and concern he slowly wrapped his arms around her and embraced her. He held her tight but gentile enough so he didn't harm her. Could it really be true did he really have the feeling of affection towards this woman? In fact at this time he did. This spirit medium had everything it took to melt this murder's icy cold heart. He wanted this moment to last forever. He then whispered "Now I guess I'll be strong for the both of us." a smile then came across his face.

Maya was a little surprised that Kristoph was hugging her. She wasn't sure how to respond. So, she went with instincts. She hugged him back.
"Strong for the both of us? Sounds good to me," Maya said. "I'm not giving up...Well, not completely...Pearly's always been better than me at channeling anyway. Besides, I am pursuing one other thing I'm good at right now. Being an assistant. Part of why I named Pearly the new master is because I missed Nick. But, well, sometimes being an assistant means I get to channel." Is it bad that I feel safe in a killer's arms?

I hope I didn't go too far. He then noticed her hugging him back. He was a tad suprised that she would. His face was gaining a bit of a pinkish hue. "Well at least you are still doing what you do best." he said slowly pulling away. At this point as much as he hated to pull away he thought it was the right thing to do at this point. How can she even feel safe in my arms when she knows that I have killed before? Yet I've never felt this happy in my life. But should I allow myself to reveal who I really am? Yes...at this point I'm tired of the lies and now is the time to be completely honest.

This was it the moment of truth that he had desided on. No you can not simply do this! What if she does dispise you after this?! Sure she hugged you back but... It was too late he had leaned forward pressing his lips againt hers. After these events it seemed that this was how he was going to say "I love you." Kristoph did believe that actions spoke louder than words. It lasted about a few minutes or so but he finally pulled back. You just had to act before speaking what is she even going to say? What if? His thoughts just faded as he had realized what he had just done. "I-I'm sorry." he said once again gaining a slight pinkish hue.

Kristoph had wondered if he had gone too fast with this. At this point he didn't know if he would face acception or rejection. He was prepared for the rejection and slightly doubted the acception. If by some miracle she did there was still the problem of everyone accepting the relationship. At this point he didn't care what anyone would have said. After quickly seeing Justice spotting them and noticing the look of shock on his face. What's the matter Justice? Didn't think I could possably get paired up with anyone? Well I think I've just contridicted your statement. He still was concerned if kissing Ms. Fey was going a little too far. Especially since it seemed that Justice was watching. At this point he could only wait.
(( I was actually thinking it would turn out like the whole Romeo Julet theme because Kristoph=Romeo Maya=Julet and Phoenix doesn't want Maya anywhere near Kristoph so it fits! I was wondering how that would happen maybe if I ask Lida we can make a collab about this :D ))

Maya was surprised yet again as Kristoph kissed her. Weren't they moving a little fast? Didn't they meet mere hours ago? And yet she found herself kissing back, not pulling away, but also not trying to pull him into anything. When he pulled away, Maya blushed and averted her eyes. What would Nick think?
"I-I'm sorry," Kristoph said from what felt like a million miles away. Maya gulped and sighed. Then, she looked Kristoph in the eyes. She knew why he was taking things so fast. He would spend the rest of his life behind bars. This was his only chance for romance. She smiled her eager smile, still blushing slightly. She could tell Kristoph was nervous. When she was honest with herself, she was really nervous, too.
"Sorry for what?" Maya asked. "You were just acting on an impulse. A lot of people do that." Her heart was beating at a million miles an hour.
