About PWLib future, after 1.2.

The Mikumo Extension will be PWLib's unique feature. I'll finish the Mikumo Extension no matter what (since people are waiting for it to make their games, so I'll make sure one working version works at least).

If people continue to ignore PWLib (or betray it like SilentBobX), I will probably only focus on Mikumo and may not work the core like I do (because why would I try to make it better if people don't care if it's good or bad?).

I wish people were like utaria who have issues, but she goes and asks and do not give up out of the blue. I don't mind asking questions ten, or even a hundred times. But giving up over the first issue and stay silent about is is just sad.
-----------------------------------------------------

I really thank Comaster and all the other people who worked hard to make PWLib more complete. I just hope that the constant recent "let's ignore PWLib and not use it" don't stick any longer and make all their work useless. I feel sad looking at all the work they did and no one new making games using them.

Skye's unmentioned cousin, Jacob Skye. (I just need a good sprite editor to make him for me)

U didn´t have to feel sad. It´s normal. I finish the job in how? 9,10 days? It´s a very short time to make conclusions.

U think i make 40 + chars for nothing? I trust in Pwlib from the first time. And it´s a long time without a update. U are focus to release a new version of Pwlib, a very big update, with a lot of new features. I see pics, i´m happy, i´m waiting. I´m glad to be part of this. I think is normal. When u release 1.2, things are gonna change for better.

The 90% of the Noobs, starts with problems. They can´t start a simple game. I think a fix there to make it more simple, is a good point. And we talk about that in msn. I have some ideas to make clear things to noobs.

U have to stay calm and continue with your great work. U have a lot of people who like the project. If u don´t believe that, see the replyes here. So don´t worry. We know where is QUALITY. If people prefer other things, is not our fault. It´s because his limitations. Don´t pay attention to the idiots who post to say nothing or talk about stupid things.

U know the truth. I know it too. That´s why are here. That´s why i decide to help u.

Sorry for my bad english guys. I´m not very good with this.

I respect people who follow the rule: quality >>> easy, but most people go by the easy >>>>>>> quality one (aka Rule of Easy). It is sad (as we can see on CR), but it is satisfying that there are people here who still care on making their games on top quality instead of letting that important aspect go.

Effort pays off good work...

Wow... I haven't been here in 75 billion years and it's amazing what you miss. Anyways, you don't have to feel bad KSA. I still use PWLib (although I'm waiting for 1.2 to come out) and it's amazing what you can do with it that can't be achieved with other casemakers. I really am grateful that you've been working so diligently on this project and I'll always be one of your loyal fans :hobohodo:

I know PWLib have loyal fans. If it wasn't for them, there wasn't going to have even a PWLib 1.2 on the horizon.

One of my questions is why some people go and take days, weeks and even months on a story, then work on sprites all godly, but in the end chose something bad instead of the best possible option to present all his work. It puzzles me to the greatest. I would use all the best options to get most of my project, unless licenses apply against it (like on why I'm not using fmod, but using audiere).

As the developer per se, I given up to care about it, but i feel sad about Comaster working like mad and people not using his work. But if he's ok with it and can endurance it, I'm ok with it.

Amazing, all GS characters in. It's a very important time in PWLib's History. And a step closer to the Mio Beta.

God, I can't wait for 1.2! The new AIGE and this will render the last AIGE/PWLib 1.1 obsolete, according to KSA. I'm sure it'll be the beginning of bright times.
After all, remember after that come the Integration Languages and the Editor. Good things to come.

So we won't release GK chars before 1.2. I forgot to talk with you about that.

Well, I'm certainly rather excited, now that all of the characters are available on PWLib and advancement to the glorious age of 1.2 draws near. I know you're a bit down about low usage rates at the moment, KSA, but I'm sure that 1.2 with all of its state-of-the-art functionality will draw all of the case creators like flies to honey. Honey which is, perhaps, less immediately accessible, but much richer and sweeter, and currently has relatively few flies in it and so is not too crowded, although that will soon change once all of the flies catch wind of this delicious scent and come buzzing to interrupt your serene picnic. And, uh, having flies in your honey is a good thing, in this case.

My apologies if the metaphor was too extended to follow.

1.2 release is very soon.

Btw, i finish my job with the char´s creation (since i didn´t want to be spoiled with GK, i´m not making chars of that game, at least, for a while.)

So i hope people enjoy the chars i make.

Like i said before. It was a real pleasure help the definitive casemaker.

When 1.2 is out, i start with another project.

The function must be the same name as the caller to it. If they are different even by one character, AIGE won't find it.

For 1.2 beta, i need to:
- Update some chars (to use [pw_chartitle] instead of "pw_char" (very fast to do)
- Fix issue with effect applied to text (slide types) (the problem on the evidence add effect one)
- Make a beta demo game
- Make the AIGE.exe updater (simple, nothing complicated to since I have an AHLSL update support library done)

Some curiosities about PWLib 1.2:

- The largest character file (from the GS, so on the pwlib core) is Miles Edgeworth with 150kb
- The smaller character files (from the GS, so on the pwlib core) are from Elise Deauxnim and LeTouse with 4kb.

I thought we might have been missing somebody. It's rather surprising that it was such a memorable character that was nearly forgotten about. At any rate, now it really should be the last one.
